Roasted Asparagus

This roasted asparagus recipe is as quick and easy as it gets. Tender asparagus spears are nicely seasoned with pepper and a splash of balsamic vinegar. This versatile side pairs well with just about anything and is finished in only 15 minutes, making it perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed

  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper

  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper

  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss asparagus, oil, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper on a large, rimmed baking sheet until coated; arrange in an even layer. Roast until tender, about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with vinegar. Serve immediately.
