Deeply Disappointed
These sweaters aren’t fitted and are just ugly. The only one with any appeal is on the cover, and the fronts not pretty just the back. There wasn’t a single thing I wanted to knit. I have a big knitting library but I’m not even going to keep this book, I’ll give it to charity.

Knits for the Fashionable
This book is filled with gorgeous color pictures. All the projects are modern and totally wearable. Super cute with just enough detailing to make them special. These are NOT boxy boring sweaters that will sit in gift recipients' closets unworn. I am in my 20's and it's so nice to finally find a pattern book that not only has fashionable projects, but that teaches you how to knit to fit perfectly. The projects in this book are broken down section by section so you tailor the pattern to fit perfectly, and the author explains how to do so. They're knit from the neck down, so you can try it on as you go to make sure it will fit. The only thing difficult is that the yarns suggested don't say what weight they are, so i had to look them up online to figure out what equivalent yarn to use. All in ... Fitted, stylish and inspiring
I bought a copy of this book without seeing it first. I love knitting from the top-down (no seams!), and the patterns I have seen from Stefanie Japel have always been stylish. I was pleased to see this book doesn't disappoint. There's something for everyone to knit from a lacey tube top to a gorgeous coat with lots of classic sweaters and vests in between. The styles are all fitted, without being too trendy. These are items I will wear for years. The yarns used are mostly from Cascade which make these very affordable knits. It will be fun to work my way through the book and create a new wardrobe of stylish, fittted knits.I bought a copy of this book without seeing it first. A very inspiring book, definitely worth the purchase price!
I just received this book and am in love with at least 10 of the 25 designs in it for myself and have started picking out colors of the yarn I would use for them. The other 15 designs are a little too young for me or too bulky for the climate I live in, but I have people on my Christmas list that would look great in them and appreciate their warmth and beauty. Overall I can picture someone I know in almost every design in this book.
