Living in Asia allows me to have access to many phones long before they are seen in the USA. This quad band phone is one of those products. It was first seen in February at Showcase Nokia 2007. It is a great phone that has incorporated a built in Global Positioning System (GPS). Nice size and features if you want a GPS phone. But if you wait until next year more options and better pricing should come to the market.
I had this phone for 1 year and this is the longest time ever for me to keep a phone. I bought it when it first came out on ebay for about $500 and also purchase the california, Nevada maps for another $50 from Route 66, there are no other choices for the maps. It works great, that's the reason why I kept it for so long, I normally change my phone every fews months. This is a good choice when you're planning to buy one, I think there are more options now where you can buy maps, and if you're ok with the tiny screen.
