Patients is a Virtue.
Not even going to lie... this addition to a true vinyl enthusiast's set-up is not an easy configuration. With a little Sticktoitiveness it is well worth the time & effort. Maintaining a clean dust-free needle is a pertinent aspect of an enjoyable listen and this guy is up for the challenge. It took me a few days to perfect it's balance, but was worth every second. I have a few discs i was trying to find a person/shop with a VPI cleaner -or like-minded- to ask to clean... after a few spins with this contraption it made a drastic difference. As for the 'anti-stactic' end of it... i had several brand spanking new discs that would make your hair stand on end just puling them out of their sleeves. One or two plays with this guy attached, the playback & factory static charge were resolved. WELL ... For junk collectors only..
I spent four... yes... 4 hours trying to make this arm brush work properly. Either it slides too fast.... stops to early, the brush is stiff... I had to add a very thin wire to make it better anti-static... over all, if you can make this arm work, good for you, as for me... and my 15+ years with turntables... I could not make it work. Good luck if you decide to buy it.

Hard to keep it moving at the same rate as the stylus but it seems to pick up particles. Can't tell if it reduces static. But maybe it does.
