Purchased this phone for my wife, who loves her flip phone. Learned that ATT no longer provides service for 2G phones. Asked to return phone and was informed that I must pay shipping charges to China. The phone costs $60.00 and the shipping charges would near the same price. Anyone want a Nokia flip phone............

I bought this for my husband who's had this phone model for about 10 years and refused to upgrade to a different phone for so long that it falls apart when he uses it. Now he has a new one that doesn't fall apart and is in brand new condition (in original packaging) with manual (he'd lost the manual for his old one!), charger and USB lead. The ONLY problem with it is that when he rings someone, it's VERY soft - very hard to hear him talk. His old phone worked well, even if it didn't want to stay together - but that's part of why he liked it so much. I've suggested that he has someone cannibalise the microphone from his old one and transfer it to his new one - which has made him happier. The main reason why he likes this phone so much is that because it's a flip phone, the screen is protected when not in use; and when it's in his pocket, it doesn't get dialled every time it gets bumped around. Also, it's obviously been made to last (he's dropped it countless times) for clumsy and inattentive people - "so why change brands/models?". If it weren't for the microphone being overly soft (regardless of tweaking the volume), it would get a full 5 stars.Read full review
I bought two of these phones for about $20-25.00. One was to replace my old 6085 (the LCD light was starting to go out), and one was for my daugther. What I didn't know was that the 6085 was one of four phones that can be used on AT&T's prepay plan which is the best deal going for $50.00/mo; providing unlimited, internet, unlimited "anytime" phone minutes, unlimited texting, basically unlimited everything. There are no extra fees. It's wonderful! We have great reception and no more worries about whether we are going over our alotted minutes each month. We had been with Centennial for $83.00/month for two phones, on a limited plan. But Centennial is no more, come the end of February 2012, so we needed to make the switch to AT&T. AT&T is the only company that will let you use your own phone for their prepay plan. So for only $8.50 more per month for each of our phones, we can enjoy unlimited everything with this great littl flip phone, enjoying such features as speed dialing, special ringtones for special people in our lives, unlimited texting, e-mail, and internet i.e. weather, etc. We love our phones!Read full review
I bought this phone b/c I saw it in the store and I thought it looked like it would be a nice phone. I wasn't really in need of a new phone, but every now and then I get the urge to buy new ones. When I received the phone, I didn't like it nearly as much as I thought I would. Since the display phones in stores are all "fake," I couldn't test any of the features before I bought it. This particular phone seemed very primitive in this technological era. The features weren't that great, and the camera wasn't a very good quality. After about 15 minutes of playing w/ it, I knew this phone was not one I wanted to keep, so I sold it on eBay and hopefully this phone satisfies them!
