CAIRO  - 20 July 2021: On July 20, many important events took place.

 

 

Important world events:

 

1951 - King Abdullah I of Jordan is assassinated while on his way to Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. This incident was followed by the coronation of King Talal bin Abdullah on the throne of Jordan to be the successor to his father, King Abdullah I bin Hussein.

 

 

1953 - The first conference of Arab finance and economy ministers is held in the Lebanese city of Chtoura. It resumed until August 10.
