Trekking and Lunch at Stunning Potrerillos
Get up close to the stunning Andes at Potrerillos, in the province of Mendoza. Enjoy the thrill of a challenging trek into the towering mountains, soaking in the breathtaking views at the water mirror of Potrerillos. Begin your climb from the basecamp at the banks of Rio Mendoza river. Hike along the gently flowing river, crossing it every now and then through wooden bridges. Admire the lush green surroundings, listening to birdsong and breathing in the fresh mountain air, as you hike past meadows where cows and horses graze. As you begin to ascend, you will hear the waterfall before you see this natural spectacle. At the tail end of your trek, the climb can be a bit challenging as you climb over a large boulder and vertical descent using a rappel. Once you reach the scenic waterfall, stop and rest for a while to soak in the scenery at this tranquil environment. Afterwards, you will return to the basecamp down the same trail. At the camp, enjoy lunch with fellow climbers as you recount the adventures of the day. Later, make your way back to the town of Mendoza.
