Alamo

The affluent residential community of Alamo is located between the more bustling commercial areas of Walnut Creek and Danville. It’s largely composed of flat estate lots with ranch-style homes and a suburban feel. Alamo is an unincorporated community, and therefore shares many services with its neighbor Danville.

Westside

Positioned just west of Highway 680, the neighborhood of Westside backs up to Las Trampas Regional Park and has instant access to the Ironhorse Regional Trail that extends from Walnut Creek to Danville. Given its close proximity to the highway, West side is a popular area for Alamo residents that prefer the quick access into the Lamorinda Corridor on Highway 24 and further into the Oakland/San Francisco area.

The neighborhoods of White Gate and Bryan Ranch sit furthest east in Alamo and are located just north of Diablo in Danville. This community is located at the foothills of Mount Diablo and as a result has a more hilly topography and terrain compared to the neighborhoods which lie to the west. Homes in this area sit on vast lots and offer vistas of Mt. Diablo and down into the rest of San Ramon Valley.

The Trails

Nestled just below Diablo Foothills Regional Park lies The Trails neighborhood which is primarily accessed via Livorna Road from Highway 680. Homes in this area range between 3500 - 5500 square feet of living space and are on large lots. The Trails is arguably one of the most coveted neighborhoods in all of the Alamo/Danville especially at the $2M+ price point.
