Valorant, released by Riot Games in 2017, is presently undergoing significant updates. The FPS title has earned a place in the hearts of the fans, all thanks to its unique spin on tactical FPS titles. Riot Games introduced the concept of agents and powerups in the dull world of FPS shooter titles.

This unique concept allowed Valorant to quickly gain traction among the fans, even leading to a flourishing competitive scene. However, with the latest patch update, Riot Games has nerfed a lot of the agents. And the worst hit among them all was the fan-favorite South Korean agent, Jett.

According to the recent patch notes, Jett’s 12-second dash window is brought down to 7.5 seconds. Furthermore, her activation windup time is increased from 0.75 seconds to 1 second. Her Cloudburst ability was also nerfed with a decrease from 4.5 seconds to 2.5 seconds.

Her Updraft ability can now be triggered only once per match along with her Blade Storm ult needing 8 points in place of 7. This nerf in almost all abilities of Jett has caused a furor in the community, leading to fans voicing their opinions.

What does the community think about Jett’s nerfs?

While fans are upset about the limitations placed on Jett, they still believe she will be picked consistently moving forward. Multiple fans have come forward to claim Jett as the best duelist present in the game.
