A note for the maintenance of flowers made of floral polymer clays.
Handmade flowers and leaves, which are made of special polymer clays ("cold porcelain") are quite strong in the finished form in its physical properties.
These products have a smooth structure and bend when bent, but still require careful use.
Flowers should not be thrown or turned over to avoid damage, breakage of parts of flowers, hard bends and cracks, fractures and defects on flowers and leaves.
Flowers made of floral polymer clay CANNOT be washed with a sponge, you can not rinse them in the shower! Such flowers can be cleaned only by dry cleaning - namely, to dust a big soft cosmetic or a feather brush, or to blow away a dust the cool hair dryer. Heavy soiling can be wiped off once with a damp, alcohol-free cloth.
Flowers should not be placed for a long time in damp rooms that have poor ventilation to avoid "falling" petals and leaves on the flowers.
Do not place flowers in direct sunlight for long periods of time to avoid burning out the paints and pigments that have been used to color and shade flowers and leaves.
Flowers that have been frozen for some time (weather conditions at the time of delivery) should be stored for some time at room temperature in a mailbox without unpacking. Only after a while you can unpack the boxes in which they were delivered and spread flowers and leaves. It is impossible to check flowers and leaves for durability in the frozen kind!!!
If the flowers were delivered slightly flattened, let these flowers stand in the room for a while - they will take on their original appearance. If a single flower was damaged during delivery (for example, the petals are broken off) and this is an isolated case - you can glue this petal back to the bud, using PVA glue. The leaves can be straightened and given a more natural shape by gently bending the wires that hold the leaves.
Handmade flowers made of floral polymer clay are quite long-lived. And if you apply the above rules of care, such flowers will delight you for many years.
