ERGONOMICS
The relaxed, leaned back posture of an armchair is much more natural and comfortable than the forward leaning hunch typical of office chairs. The POÄNG offers exceptional lower back support, and we offer an optional laptop riser which brings your laptop up to eye level to further reduce neck and back strain.

INSTALLATION
Assemble the Lap Desk in seconds with just two bolts using the included Allen key. Simply slides onto your POÄNG arm and locks in place with a rotating latch.

STYLE
We've paired high quality Birch plywood with a smooth clear coat or a deep black stain to match the aesthetic of the POÄNG. We spray finish the surface with a fine water-based polyurethane that feels amazing and will protect the surface for years.

ADJUSTABLE
The Lap Desk can be easily repositioned by just sliding the brackets up or down on the arm. There are 3 available tilting positions: 0°, 6.5°, and 13°. If you need to use your chair for other things, or you have company coming over, the entire assembly can be removed in seconds to reclaim your POÄNG chair!

Each Lap Desk is handmade in Vancouver and inspected for quality before (free) shipping anywhere in North America. At Bateman Labs we've been using the POÄNG Lap Desk as our primary workstation for years now and love it - we have no intention of returning to a task chair!

Works perfectly as a desk! My daughter with ADHD can now do her computer school work in our comfortable living room Lazyboy recliner and use our big TV as a computer monitor.
