The European Spindle (Euonymus Europaeus) has brilliant foliage and shines throughout most of the year. It’s deciduous and can be grown as a shrub or small tree. They typically get anywhere between 10 to 20 feet high. This species has a number of benefits: oil that’s used for soap-making, seed coating used as a yellow dye and charcoal from the wood used by artists. The spindle makes does great along house edges and pairs well with ornamental grasses like blue fescue grass. Each pack comes with basic instructions for germination.
