This grip is great for adding something more stable to hold onto without adding much weight. The finish on the wood is smooth and doesn't feel like there is any possibility of getting a splinter or anything like that but its also grippy enough to help hold the camera better.

This grip has been a welcome addition to my Nikon FM2N. It is light weight and improves the ergonomics of shooting, particularly with a somewhat heavier lens like my 105mm. It has a recessed groove on the inner face of the grip to allow full functionality of the self-timer, a detail I appreciate. Would recommend.
