Hello, I am Jane (aka Princess Etch), and I make one-of-a-kind, completely permanent works of art on an Etch A Sketch.

This is for a custom city skyline of your choice on an Etch A Sketch size of your choosing. Skylines include a complimentary display option of your choice which you choose in the dropdown menus. Skyline renditions only include minimal background (such as clouds) and are not rendered with dark sky. If you would like a night skyline, please message me so we can discuss details further.

It is made to order. The Etch A Sketch will be preserved so that it can be shipped anywhere in the world, and will not erase. Buyer must send a photo reference via etsy or my email. I would prefer to approve of the reference photo before payment is made.

Choose from one of four Etch A Sketch sizes - Mini, Pocket, Travel and Classic. The dimensions for each size are as follows:

Mini: Outer frame - 3.75" x 3.25" | Screen - 2.375" x 1.5"

Pocket: Outer frame - 4.25" x 3.75" | Screen - 3" x 2.125"

Travel: Outer frame - 6.125" x 5.375" | Screen - 4.5" x 3.25"

Classic: Outer frame - 9" x 7.375" | Screen - 6.25" x 4.375"

My Etch A Sketch art is preserved by disassembling the unit, cleaning the aluminum powder out, and removing the internal components. The powder is what traditionally re-coats the screen when the Etch A Sketch is shaken, so removing the powder means there is nothing left to re-coat the screen. By removing the internal components, the knobs are no longer connected to any internal mechanisms which means you can safely turn them all you want with no concern of creating new lines on the screen.

My Etch A Sketch art comes in 1 of 4 sizes - mini, pocket, travel and classic. The dimensions for each size are as follows:

Mini:
Outer frame - 3.75"x3.25" Screen - 2.375"x1.5"

Pocket:
Outer frame - 4.25" x 3.75" Screen - 3"x2.125"

Travel:
Outer frame - 6.125"x5.375" Screen - 4.5"x3.25"

Classic:
Outer frame - 9"x7.375" Screen - 6.25"x4.375"

Prints are available in one of three standard sizes - 5"x7", 8"x10" and 11"x14".

My original Etch A Sketch art has been preserved. When shaken, it will not erase. However, it is not indestructible. It is still important to treat it as you would any work of art. If dropped, light fading is possible.

It is no longer a toy! Keep out of reach of children. If you notice any silver powder on the Etch A Sketch, it can be cleaned with a damp, soapy cloth or sanitary wipe.

Do not store for extended periods of time with the image facing down.

Treat your permanent Etch A Sketch rendition as you would any work of art, it will last a lifetime!

As one final note, some of my older work is preserved using a different method where the knobs are glued down. Please do not forcefully turn them if they are glued!
