Since we grow many of our own seeds, we are not able to offer seeds for sale in bulk as we are limited on quantities. Doing this would merit a discount and our price margin isn't big enough to offer a wholesale discount. In addition, this would clean out our inventory since we are a smaller operation.

We use Etsy calculated shipping for our seeds. All seeds are sent in a poly bubble mailer via USPS. We are not able to send seeds in standard envelopes as the sorting machine can crush the seeds prior to their destination. We cannot use a stamp for reduced postage as Etsy requires a tracking number (obtained through a first-class postage label) for sellers to be protected by the Etsy seller program, and customers to be protected through the Etsy buyer program.

If you are in Colorado, we aren't able to do local pickups as Etsy earns fees from shipping costs for each transaction. Not charging shipping can be considered fee avoidance and we could risk our shop closing.

From where we are (Colorado Springs, Co.) to the border of Canada & Michigan, USPS charges approx. $3.81 U.S. Once a package crosses into Canada, the Canadian post adds several customs & import fees. These include a fee known as the GST or Goods & services tax.

If these aren't included in the shipping, the package isn't allowed to leave the U.S. For most of Canada, the fees are a 5% increase, Ontario is a 13% GST, and New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island are 15% GST.

The Canadian post is also an independent business vs. a government-run entity. This means they set the prices & fees as they wish instead of being set by the government (like USPS). WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THESE FEES.

We have experienced several situations where a package may show up as delivered but actually ends up showing up 2-7 days later. We ask that you are patient during this time to see if it arrives.

When we put the packages in the mailbox, USPS takes over. We are not able to talk to the mailman on your route, USPS won't give us this information. If your package is missing, please try to contact USPS as they can provide you more information since the package was coming to your area. You may even request the GPS location of the driver during the scan to see if the location of drop off was correct. Last year we experienced significant losses due to missing, & lost deliveries from USPS. Please keep in mind that once we hand your package to USPS, it's in their care, custody, and control. If packages are missing or late, please open a case with Etsy.

When we print out USPS labels, they pre-fill with information the customer entered. We cannot be responsible for returns due to missing apt. #'s, or incorrect addresses.

When providing your shipping address, please select only your residential address or your P.O. Box. Including both could result in USPS returning your package back to us. When filling out your shipping address, please use the 2nd address line to provide only an apartment number or unit number.

If you experience low or no germination on your seeds, please reach out prior to leaving a review. If you paid for seeds, we want you to grow what you expected. We will ask questions to try to troubleshoot the issue. We would rather do whatever it takes to make things right than accept a negative review.

Growing instructions are provided to set you up for success. Please follow the instructions carefully. Not all seeds require a heat or germination mat, when starting seeds indoors make sure your seeds have drainage holes, when transplanting put your plants where their light requirements are met, harden off prior to transplanting, etc.

2 main factors contribute to seed degradation, heat, and humidity. We are located in Colorado Springs is 6035 ft. above sea level. 8 months out of the year, we have brisk chilly - severely cold weather. Since our altitude is so high, we also have very little humidity. We store our seeds in an outdoor finished shed with a dehumidifier where temperatures inside are 30-60 degrees (F). The seeds are constantly dry and cool. Seeds are bagged to order and we use smaller plastic bags for presentation and to keep costs down on packaging. We are in the process of finding an affordable way to convert over to paper bags. Our goal is to transition to envelopes with instructions printed on the outside of each pack.

We have had several occasions where folks place an order and when their seeds arrive, it's not what they expected. We are a seed company and only sell seeds. We implicate this in our business name. We also mention the term "seeds" in the headings, the beginnings of each description, and the seed count in the "materials" section of each listing. Like seed packages on the market, it's necessary to show what types of plants the seeds will produce so customers can see the size, shapes, colors, etc. We encourage customers to read our descriptions and be aware of our business name so purchases aren't made while the customer is expecting produce vs seeds.

We are not able to drop ship our products as this doesn't work with the Etsy selling platform model. Customers must purchase our seeds directly through Etsy so Etsy can earn fees from the transaction.
