This is a 1902 original signed antique Denton chromolithograph print of a Tomcod or Frost Fish. It is a color chromolithograph print from the New York Fisheries, Game and Forest Commission. Denton's name is printed on the lower left side of the print. It is printed on heavy stock paper that will frame nicely. Sherman Foote Denton was a naturalist, artist, and author at the turn of the 19th century. He is best known for his lithographs of fish. Denton's fish prints are highly sought after.

The print measures approximately 9 3/8 inches high X 12 inches long. It is in good condition. This is an actual 1902 print not a reproduction. Photos are of the print you will receive. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description.
