Defender Reece Wabara leaves Barnsley

Barnsley defender Reece Wabara has left the club following the expiry of his short-term contract.

The 24-year-old signed a six-month deal with the club in August and has made 26 appearances.
"Reece has been great and he's been a genuine pleasure to work with," Barnsley boss Lee Johnson told the club's official website.
"I honestly think the time Reece has had in the team has helped (fellow defender) James (Bree). We've needed to go through some basics with him.
"We felt we had to go back to basics on defending and the connection with the back four."
Wabara progressed through Manchester City's academy and had loan spells at Ipswich, Oldham and Blackpool before joining Doncaster on a free transfer in August 2014.
