This oblong 1"+ diameter Eugenia can be trimmed into a bush or a compact tree and is excellent for container culture. The mild sweet flavor ranges can have some resin unless picked perfectly ripe when falling off the branch. Heavy producer once per year in March - April, fruits at 4-6 years old, mature tress hardy to the low 20's. Our seven year old 8' tall tree produced 800+ fruit this spring .
