He made over 150 film and television appearances, among them "Begegnung Mit Werther" (1949), "Haie und Kleine Fische" (1957), "Auferstehung" (1958), "Ein Mann Geht Durch die Wand" (1959), "The Defector" (1966), "Jack of Diamonds" (1967), "Die Erbschaft" (1982), "Ein Gutes Land" (1982) and "Roche Ostern" (1996). On TV he was seen in "Dem Täter auf der Spur," "Lutz & Hardy" and "Tadellöser & Wolff." He died of a brain tumor in Starnberg, Germany.
