Actor. He was best known to both television and film viewers for the numerous character roles on both the "big" and "small" screen during the 1950s and 1960s. He arrived in California as a student and later signed a contract with Columbia Pictures in the early 1950s. He made his acting debut in the 1951 film "The Brave Bulls." His later film credits included such titles as "Hiawatha" (1952), "Taza, Son of Cochise" (1954), and "Walk the Proud Land" (1956). In 1954, he made his television debut on the series "Cavalcade of America." He went on to appear in such series as "Dragnet," "My Little Margie," "The Loretta Young Show," "Broken Arrow," "Sea Hunt," "The Rebel," "The Untouchables," and "The Wild, Wild West." He retired from acting in 1970.
