'Animal' actress Tripti Dimri on working with Vicky Kaushal: 'He's someone who made me feel...'

Tripti Dimri, who’s fresh off the success of Animal, is now working with Vicky Kaushal in a film called ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ and recently, their pictures of shooting a song went viral. The actress has now spoken about her experience of working with the actor in an interview with Filmfare.

Dimri said, “He’s very understanding and gives you your important space. Vicky, he’s like a full-on Punjabi. Very easy. Very committed to his work. You know, he’s someone who made me feel comfortable. He’s very secure as an actor.”

She added, “Usually when you’re acting, you tend to get a little selfish about your scenes and performance. You have to be aware of what your co-actor is doing or else the scene will fall flat. That worked out with Vicky.”

This film starring Vicky Kaushal  and  Tripti Dimri is directed by Bandish Bandits fame Anand Tiwari, the film marks the first collaboration of the two supremely talented actors. Last year, the duo was in Croatia for the shoot of a romantic song for the film. The leaked photos from the time are now being widely shared by Internet users.

The leaked images display Tripti and Vicky romancing each other. The Sam Bahadur actor is seen holding the Animal actress close. One of the pictures has Vicky lifting Tripti in her arms; another still shows the actress gazing at the actor as he is lying down on the floor.

Notably, Tripti Dimri recently spoke about her intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor from the film  Animal . In a recent interview with Indian Express, Tripti recalled that she was told about the scenes when Sandeep Reddy Vanga offered her the film. She also said that the director assured her of “aesthetically” shooting the scenes. Tripti revealed that to make her feel comfortable, the entire set was closed down during the shooting of the particular scene and only four people were allowed.
