George Malauulu: Polynesian All-Star Showcase

Polynesian Football Tackles Softball

George Malauulu, a former University of Arizona quarterback, coordinates with the Polynesian All-American Bowl to help Polynesian athletes continue their careers and education into college. The PAAB was centered around football players, but now with two daughters playing softball, George is working to create the same opportunities for Polynesian softball athletes.

On Saturday, softball players ranging from 18U to 8U will participate in camps and all-star games at the Polynesian All-Star Showcase in Irvine, California. The event is produced by AIGA, a faith-based non-profile organization that helps athletes across the U.S., Hawaii and American Samoa acquire athletic scholarship in football and now softball.

In this video, Malauulu talks about the Showcase which runs from 8 am to 4:30 pm at Bill Barber Park.
