Hoya verticillata 'Red leaf' aka 'Spoon leaf'
    • Hoya verticillata 'Red leaf' aka 'Spoon leaf' is a cultivar of Hoya verticillata (Vahl) G.Don. It grows unusual, spoon-shaped, sharply-pointed leaves that are longer and more rigid than other Hoya varieties and display gorgeous red hues whe  exposed to strong light. When mature, this stunning plant produces spicy-scented flowers.
     
    The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
