  1. Delicious!!! The creme de cassis is so heavenly and creates a sweet berry wine. I used about 2 TBSP in about a cup of wine to get the flavor and color that I wanted. Will make again, thanks for posting this classic!!

  2. My husband and I are huge fans of white burgundy and this is a classic and so fun.

  3. Terrific! Used white wine and 3 teaspoons creme de cassis and really enjoyed this!

  4. Served the Kir in wine glasses, after dinner. Will try with the champagne next time, and serve in flutes. Thank you Gay, for this classic!

  5. A classic. Just had them tonight, with champagne. I like them light on the creme de cassis--in fact, I think the amount of creme de cassis should go up as the quality of the wine or champagne goes down, if that makes any sense?!

I'm really just learning how to cook, but I hope that my skills at eating will really guide me in this endeavor. ;-) I think that sharing recipes on the internet is better than any cookbook. Of course, I founded Recipezaar, so I might be a little biased.
