Coinciding with the release of its 2008 vintage Grand Cru, champagne house Pommery has released its 2021 World Collection. The 2021 edition follows those that celebrated Australia, South America, Japan, and Africa by taking the brand to Asia.

Pommery developed its World Collection to celebrate the art of travel, and while the global Covid pandemic may have curtailed much of that for 2020-21, Pommery hoped the limited-edition range would still transport drinkers.

Titled Céleste, the range pays homage to the world’s largest continent with five limited edition bespoke gift boxes. The custom-created artworks draw inspiration from traditional Asian design, featuring rich colours embellished with ornate gold and silver foil patterns.

The cuvées available in the Céleste range include the Brut Royal NV, Brut Rosé NV, Brut Apanage NV, Apanage Blanc de Blancs NV, and Grand Cru Vintage.

The vintage Grand Cru is blended from only seven Grand Crus and is presented in a stunning burgundy box embossed with a gilt gold dragon – the symbol of imperial strength and power.

The 2021 Céleste limited edition range is available through wine stockists.
