One of the most successful companies in the world happens to be based in Carthage, Missouri.
And the former head of that company, Leggett and Platt, shared some of his business expertise with members of the Carthage Chamber of Commerce Emerging Leaders Group. Felix Wright spent half a century with the Fortune 500 company. He started out as a customer service representative and retired as its president, chairman and CEO.
“But I’m gonna share some things that have gotten me through 50 years of manufacturing and leading a great company and hopefully it will help them as they go through their years and whatever their endeavors are what businesses they’re in and what things they’re doing for our community,” says Felix Wright, Former Leggett & Platt C.E.O.
Wright retired from Leggett and Platt back in 2008.
