Scent of highschool. I hated highschool.

Chrisantonios

I’ve had a bottle for ages, and even though I don’t wear it much anymore, I aways love smelling it. It’s nostalgic at this point.

Ljena777

Blind bought this based on notes and reviews. Also, I absolutely love cool water for men and I just wanted to try it out. How disappointed I was! This smells like Eastern European public toilet, to be precise - the cleaning products that I remember from my childhood. I just don’t want to smell like this. It’s quite strong and it gives me a headache. Will be reselling if no one from family or friends want it. Why don’t I learn and test before buying? It is a very cheap edt, so I just thought I could waste my money. Another lesson learned.

tituslivius

never think it's good enough 2 buy but always beeline 2 smell it at the airport

hugsandmisses

Shocker! A rather low rating considering how much I enjoy it. Not something I reach out to frequently because I do have some I favors more, but this is so value for money considering how unique and amazing it smells. Don't think I ever encounter another fragrance that smells the same. An aquatic scent that gives off the vibe of a sophisticated lady getting out of the shower fresh in a bathrobe. I have this bottle for the longest time and I felt bad I am only reviewing it now.

Dollycat

Like it very much. But like always current version is again much much weaker as before versions. I remember this fragrance as very loud, very strong and very sharp. You could smell it yards away when someone was wearing it. Nowadays its much softer and more flowery the sharpness is completely gone. It's a nice scent but a crowd pleaser. The earlier version would blow you away with its strength. Longtivity is good projection is moderate. Aquatic it is but now more flowery. Like but not love. I loved the earlier editions as power bomb fanatic. 😞

wildangel72

This smells how you would expect something in this color blue to smell. It's soapy, a bit sharp at first, and gives "rain fresh shower gel" vibes for me. I get most of the marine and sea qualities in the opening, then the fruity fresh notes come through. It turns very soft in the end, and the finish is really pleasant. The problem is that the end is swift, to say the least. On my skin this opens strong, develops quickly, and is gone in an instant. Sillage is fair while it lasts, but longevity on skin was half an hour at best. I haven't tried it on clothes because for me it's the kind of fresh shower scent that needs to be on the skin to develop. I think on clothes it would stay linear soapy and just smell like fresh laundry. Overall I like it as a warm weather freshie, and I love the drydown, but it's gone by the time I get out the door. 🙁

Shreya242

in short words i can say it is a cool, breezy, fresh fragrance for a hot summer day, anybody who will smell you will feel fresh too.

Luminan

I've used this for about 22 years now and I still love it so much.
I don't pick any notes, but it's fresh and aquatic.
Like cool seawater.
And quite inoffensive, if you don't overdose.
And it's affordable.
Try this if you like fresh and aquatic scents <3

Luilind

Fresh aquatic scent. This used to be my favourite as a teenager. I don’t usually go for aquatic or fresh scents, but Davidoff Cool Water manages to blend aquatic notes, florals and sweet watery fruits very well. It’s feminine and refined resting on sandalwood and vanilla. Great for summer and gym, nice clean scent and not soapy.

eaudebora

every time I try to get over this perfume and move on... somehow I end up going back to it!!
always have to keep a bottle around.

I got the more compliments from this than any other fragrance, and this is so affordable!! got told I smell like "fresh showers", and many other similar descriptions.

The way this perfume develops and smells after its been on ur clothes and skin for a while is just HEAVENLY, i love smelling my clothes the day after i've sprayed this.

Its fresh and clean but doesn't smell like a mans cologne, Its like an aquatic mans cologne with a feminine twist.
if youre a lover of clean scents, ur gonna like this one.

this is the ultimate gym scent, it keeps me feeling fresh and light, and lovely for after showers too.

let ur bottle macerate, the longer it sits the better this perfume smells,

Studphobic

I smelled this on my mum a lot as a child so it's very nostalgic. It's very unisex, leaning masculine. Perfect for very hot, humid days in London. It's refreshing and aquatic, not quite ocean smelling since it's missing a salt note, but it's like a cold swimming pool (without the chlorine). It's a good one to layer with sweet scents.

FrogSaint

Cool Water was my mother's signature perfume for a long time!
Growing up, I remember her having quite a few scents that she loved, but this is the one I would sneakily apply before school.

The scent is very clean, refreshing, and aquatic. It is suitable for all ages and is more on the unisex side, though definitely leaning more toward the feminine side.

If you like fresh scents, this could be a good blind buy. I would also not hesitate to buy this as a gift for a friend.

karluvmost

This is summer in a bottle. It smells like water, the ocean, vacation and summer holidays. It also smells somehow nostalgic for some reason? At first, there are fresh citruses and water. Then it smells more sweet (like fruits and water melon) but not too sweet in the way that makes you have headache, but in a way that makes you feel like you are on beach in summer, having a cold drink and fruit.

The whole time it is very fresh and keeps the smell of fresh water. The name "cool water" fits well, it really feels cooling and refreshing. It also lasts pretty long, on skin I think it's good for about one whole work day, on clothes a bit more. (edit: I put it yesterday evening on my wrists and I can still smell it today, and it's half past 4 in the afternoon) And it's also good price, if you want a good quality perfume but you cannot afford some expensive designer brand (like me) this is a good choice.

My mom uses it and it smells a little different on both of us, but always nice. I don't think there is anyone who would hate this perfume, at least I don't know anyone who does...so I think it also makes a good present if you don't know someone that close. The bottle is also cute, it looks like a little potion.

SakuraArt

Some people like to say Cool Water is too strong. I like to say it's "assertive". The citrus and calone make a very decisive scent combination. I consider it to be a power frangrance that I like to wear when I need a confidence boost at work.

DandyCandy

I absolutely love fresh aquatic scents, but there is something too sharp and masculine smelling in this one for me. The sharp opening dies down after a few minutes, but the masculine smell remains thought and unfortunately I don't get any of those softer base notes coming through.

TreenOfLane

Christmas Gift 2023. Berries and peach and fresh water. Smells clean and like a soft vacation day. It's sparkling and delightful. The longevity is not much on me, maybe an hour, but I don't mind re-applying. It's not perfumey or floral and safe and universally pleasant for the office. It's marketed to women but definitely could be men's too. I also bought the men's for my husband. It's a beautiful and classy fragrance.

FlowerSeeker

I love the strong aquatic scent! However there’s something sharp that reminds me of men’s cologne, like cedar, and it’s a little too much for me.

MysteriousMidna

Too sharp, aquatic, and ozonic for me; the fruits and florals are completely overpowered. Its super strong for the first 30 minutes but then it fades very quickly, and after two hours, I can barely tell I’m wearing it. I won’t repurchase.

Clinique’s Happy and Dua’s Crown Twilight are way better fresh fruity options.

Deliza1997

I really don’t like the opening, smells like fresh fruits with a litte bit of detergent in it.The dry down is very nice though . I get waves of aquatic florals time to time. Longevity is not that bad, moderate sillage. But it is very cheap so I can't complain too much.

mekanazekana

Fantastic fresh perfume for summer days. It just too shame it doesn't last longer. After 2h scent disappear.
It's light to wear and beautiful.

rachelv

It really smells quite similar to the men's version so quite unisex, though this is less strong. First thing I get when I spray either of these is the strong citrusy scent. Gradually the melon and calone notes show up and the fragrance takes on a slight soapy scent. After around an hour, the musky base note becomes more noticeable. Even though the scent contains some sweeter smelling elements such as vanilla, they never really come up for me. I don't get powdery elements either. The citrusy, and calone notes take centre stage even after the initial sharpness fades. It remains a fresh smelling, slightly soapy scent throughout the day - good longevity.

Emoody

My mom’s signature scent since 1996. Personally I believe it’s reformulated, it’s sweeter and fizzier nowadays, reminds me so much of Pepsi Soda than my mom’s hug :(. PASS

AquaRegia

Davidoff introduced Cool Water for Women a decade following the original Cool Water for Men, and it's like a refreshing dip in the ocean. This floral aquatic fragrance exudes a serene aura reminiscent of ocean breezes and cooling seawater, accompanied by a fusion of fruits and woods.

Opening with a refreshing aquatic accord of citrus, honeydew melon, and lotus, the fragrance transitions to a heart of gentle flowers including May Rose, Lily, and Muguet. The base notes of musk, raspberry, and vetiver add a soft and inviting depth. Perfect for summer days at the beach, it's a pioneering and well-liked scent that comes at an affordable price point.

While sometimes underrated, Cool Water for Women holds untapped potential for a strong resurgence. Its decent longevity and projection make it a dependable choice. Though initially envisioned for women, its unisex character may lead men to explore it, especially on sunny days. It could even pair well with Cool Water for Men in a partner's fragrance lineup.

ShadMu

OH MY GOODNESS i love this one soo much!!

when i first bought it,it was at the beginning of 2020,first thing that came to my mind is the OCEAN,SUN,HAPPINESS,WATER !!

i don’t know but it gives me the feeling of childhood days, when i smell it i always imagine myself swimming in the middle of the ocean at night while the moonlight is shining,or i imagine the sound of the big ocean waves clashing,or i imagine myself dancing while it’s raining,it’s all related to WATER!

it’s really up to it’s name Cool Water, such an amazing aquatic lemony fragrance.

The Scent of a Blue Lagoon...

This 1996 Floral Aquatic scent by Pierre Bourdon has a mood & tone consistent with Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991), or The Blue Lagoon (1980). Although both films were made before this came out, I could imagine the sets smelling of this, and Brooke Shields, Milla Jovovich or their male co-stars wearing this on set.

Once the bottle is sprayed a few times and then stored for a year or more it smells like it should, as other reviewers have mentioned. There's a lot going on in the notes, and although individual notes can sometimes be picked out, it's smoothly blended into sweet but cool blue lagoon vibe. Opens with a fruity-floral burst of melon & lotus with quince & citrus-y accents. As it transitions to the floral heart of lotus & waterlily, some honey tones emerge. The floral support base keeps the blue lagoon vibe going for well beyond average performance.

I was obsessed with this when it first came out. Like all fads, it fell out of fashion for awhile, but now I would consider it a classic. It's a longtime love for me. Aquatic scent lovers, enjoy!

ThunderHeart

This is a strange perfume. I got it over 10 years ago and it smelled way too strong, like kitchen cleaners. I used it as a room spray for awhile. It’s now 2023 and it smells so good like described. Why would it take so long for this perfume to smell aquatic instea of Comet cleaner? Totally strange. I like it now but not when I got it. Did it have to age to get its proper scent? Just weird.

Eau De Perfume Hunter

@StinkyHera For the love of God, how do you smell olives in there?? This perfume is exactly how its described: fresh, citrusy, aquatic, ozonic. A perfect refreshing summer scent. Not too strong and not too weak. One of my favourites.

Nigdylandia

I love this scent, there's something magical about it, fresh, watery, tingly sparkly, small sweet flowers on the dry down. One of my signature scents. Other one is J'adore Dior so make of that what you will.
Also using Cool Water Exotic Summer which is more fruity (more pineapple imho).
It lasts ok but it's edt so don't expect it to last till next day.
Want to also try the rose version.

Juicyvine

I adore the bottle and so I wanted to love this so much but it smelled bad. No melon, no pineapple, no fruit or flowers. This smelled like men's shaving foam with a bit of aquatic type smell. The top notes were bad and the dry down was the same. It was screaming and just didn't mellow out. I had to scrub it off and return.

TDSollog

Definitely unisex. Summer appropriate. Not offensive and office safe.

Zanerkand

Phenomenal.

Incredible longevity and projection; I have received many compliments wearing this.

It's a stunning fragrance. It has an abundance of notes but it's the melon that stands out for me. The lotus note gives it an aquatic feel and it's not particularly floral which is so rare in feminine leaning perfume.

Reasonably priced too. I can't wait to try the flankers.

Signature worthy 😊

10/10.

Linda_80

This is the perfect summer perfume,if you like clean, fresh scents.
It has a longevity that lasts all day on my skin, absolutely love it.

Jenbug23

For an EDT this is a beast. Lasts for a Long time. It’s so refreshing and cooling especially in the summer heat. Always a delight when I wear this. I won’t repurchase but I’m enjoying and cherishing the hell out of my bottle.

MadameMerola

I will never forget my excitement hearing that there was finally a female version of Cool Water because I absolutely loved Cool Water for men. I rushed to Selfridges, London back in 1996 to get the sample and stretched out my arm for the Sales Assistant to hit me with the scent.

I almost threw up when I put my nose towards my arm to soak in the scent. This was my first bad experience with a scent and unfortunately it has not improved over the years for me. It was a huge NO for me in 1996 and when a friend bought me the perfume as a gift in 2010, it was the first time I ever returned a gift because I knew I would never wear it. Thankfully, she knew I was not that type of rude person and gave me in another perfume in exchange that I wore with joy.

So Cool Water for men is a 💜💜💜💜💜 and Cool Water for women is a 🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑.

Lotte_Liese

Lotus, melon, water lily and pineapple- these are the notes I smell. This is fresh, light and very hot weather appropriate.
I have used Giorgio Beverly Hills' Blue and that is a much better option. This is rather boring.

Mahsa ranjbar

Sorry smells like bug spray🤷🏽♀️

cgaleb

Tonight (4th of July),I used the very last of my juice from a bottle I’ve had since the mid-90’s. It seemed like the perfect fragrance for such an occasion. It’s great on a summer day, or night. I can’t speak of newer formulations, but the 90s version really smells much more “expensive” than it is. It only lasted about 3 hours and then was completely gone. It amazes me how many notes are listed for this. It smells like a melon aquatic with a base of musk. I’m going to have to smell what’s on the market today to see if it’s worth replacing it in my collection.

SalinasL

I keep this in my collection for sentimental reasons. It was the first perfume I ever owned, a present from my older brother who was around 10 years old at the time. I remember my mom saying that the sales assistants in Sears thought he was just the sweetest thing buying his little sister perfume and guided him towards this. I obviously wore it a bunch because there’s not much left in the bottle but I can’t remember ever really loving the scent itself. It’s very cologne-ey, and I’ve come to learn that: melon does not work with my chemistry, pineapple, quince and lotus are all iffy, and that aquatics in general are very hit/miss for me. Needless to say I’m surprised I used up as much as I did, but I was young and probably just sprayed with abandon and didn’t think too much about it. Anyway, I consider this very “of the time,” and enjoy smelling it from the nozzle from time to time for nostalgia’s sake.

Sherlock Ness Monster

I really like this one. Very distinctive scent . . . many times when I wear it someone recognizes what it is and leans in closer for a deeper sniff. It really does smell "cool" and the color of the bottle suits the fragrance well. Freshy fruity aquatic for spring and summer. I will always have this one in my collection.

Melody Valentine

I used to wear this sometimes in high school in the 2000s. It's not my style now but it is nice. For a fresh type of perfume it's not boring and samey like a lot of them are, it's distinctive and quite sweet. I'd recognise it anywhere even though I've not had it for years. Fruity but fresh, and somehow captures the feel of actual water without smelling like it. There's no salty, marine feel to this that I can remember, it's borderline tropical but doesn't quite cross over into full on tropical territory. It's strong aswell, for a freshy it projects and lasts, but then again it's been years since I tried it and back then I'd be topping up constantly. If I had to wear a fresh perfume in the same ballpark as Light Blue, CK One, Tommy Girl, or the original Hugo Boss for women, which were the other perfumes similar in vibe to this at the time, I'd choose this one for it's sweetness. I definitely remember loving it, aswell as a Ralph Lauren one in a blue bottle that was quite similar, but I don't feel the strong urge to buy it even for nostalgic reasons. It was never my absolute favourite perfume, that was Chopard's Wish, I was more into gourmands or things like Samsara.

jule9

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet. I wore this in my early twenties. A must have for summer and spring days as an everyday scent that you throw on when you don't feel like thinking about what to wear, and it composes well with most scented body products. Men seem to love it, in my experience even more than gourmands like LVEB. Probably due to certain youthful innocence and freshness that appeals to them. Juicy and sweet but fruit/flower sweet, not gourmand. Doesn't have "marine" notes but it is aquatic.

Commander444

The only women's scent that I have and can wear as a man. The Bangladeshi reviewer Joy Amin recommended this, and he was correct, it's fresh and is very strong for a freshy.

oddsoy

the pineapple note in this fragrance is so beautiful. a very clean tropical smell that is perfect for the beach or lake. not a light fragrance though, with the aquatic ozonic smell being very strong and could give someone a headache if not sprayed on lightly.

lichprincess

I will wear this scent forever and it's my comfort scent that takes me back to the most care-free and innocent time in my life - when I was 10-12 years old. After the initial memory throwback, what's left is a great and irreplaceable freshness with a hint of sweetness. Makes me feel clean and edible which is a good combination.

Ms.Kiss

My very first favorite perfume, used to smell this from my mom when i was younger and really makes me feel refreshed and energised everytime i smelled it. It last quite long as my mom sprays it before work and i could still smell it when she comes home in the evening

boygirl

Bought this on a whim at Shoppers because it was on the 21.99 rack. I am so glad i did. This brings a quintessential 90s aquatic calone soapiness that i love.
This scent lasts quite a while on me. I can smell it on myself throughout the work day. I like to mix it with other scents to add that extra clean edge to them.
For sillage and projection, i'm not sure. I think it is pretty intimate on me, but i am not an oversprayer either, only about 2-3 sprays.
If you are looking for a no-brainer, office friendly, clean summer scent, this is it.

GinCatsBooks

This is quite a ubiquitous scent and instantly springs to mind whenever someone mentions a scent is "aquatic". I've had Cool Water previously but it was my mother's part used bottle and was the "deodorant spray" rather than the actual EdT, it also had turned and smelt like overripe melon and pencil shavings so I binned it.

I recently saw the EdT on offer in Boots as well as in various other places, it really is an inexpensive scent and I thought "why not" and got a fresh 50ml EdT. I'm glad I got a fresh bottle but I'm also glad I got a 50ml, it's made me realise facets to this scent that I never noticed before but it's also not one I'd reach for often since I think it's better suited for scorching hot weather and for stuffy environments.

The opening is quite sharp and astringent, reminding me of a swimming pool but in a kind of nostalgic way. Melon is instantly noticeable after initial application and stays there throughout development, I get a lot of waterlily and something that feels "grassy" along with a cold dewy sort of feeling from the calone. I can't say I notice any of the other fruits or florals and the pencil shaving woody notes of my previous bottle are non existent. Cool Water dries down to a light melon shower gel skin scent by about the 3hr mark and stays like that until I take a shower.

The longevity on me is decent, I can spray 5x and smell it on me all day with it having a mild bordering on moderate silage. It's office safe in my opinion but to me, it feels too casual for office wear so personally I'd save it for hot casual summer wear. The price is right and it's easily available, it's also a lovely dumb reach for days when you can't think of what to wear and just want to smell clean.
I'm currently sat on a very hot train that's crowded and one person is wearing heavily applied Angel while I'm sat in my fresh, cool melon aura feeling serene and refreshed.
Future summertime repurchase

ceaselessedge

my dad got this for me a couple of months ago (around December I think), and initially i didn't really like it all that much. it smelled synthetic and bitter to me, but after seeing a few people mention that spraying lightly helps a bit, I found myself liking this one more. maybe it might have to do with the (slightly) warmer weather too, but i think it's an ok fragrance. It's fruity and fresh and slightly synthetic (not necessarily in a bad way). I could see myself using this more during the summer, but i wouldn't consider this my go-to fresh scent. it's still a nice fragrance though and it smells almost nostalgic in a way (can't exactly explain why that is)

ChelleBelle84

I’ve reviewed this before some years ago, but it’s been a while. So, beings that I used what was left in the bottle I had and wore it today, I thought I would come back here with an update. I was at a very casual, outdoor company event earlier this afternoon. We had beautiful weather here with mild temperatures. People upon seeing me and giving me a hug said, “OMG, you smell so good. What is that?” Imagine their surprise when I told them that it was this. Of course skin chemistry plays a huge part in how a scent will smell from person to person, but there is also a trick with this one.

Be careful how much you spray on and at what distance the bottle is away from you when you spray it. Spraying too close to the body and spraying too much will have this scent smelling thick and synthetic to the point it’s gag and headache inducing. I held the bottle nearly two feet away from me and misted this on. The result was smelling nice, fresh, and clean as if I stepped out of the shower only a minute ago without causing any headaches for myself or others around me. It does smell soapy, but I like those kind of scents for daytime anyway. For me, they make me more approachable to others. This lasted on me for most of the day with mild projection. I’m sure I’ll replace my used bottle once summer is in full swing.

yzmo91

Can't really go wrong with cool water. Fresh aquatic with fruity notes. Good for day time, heat and sport. Not ground breaking but okay.

Spicadk

I dont like the perfume, but i love the deo stick, which i cant find any more. It help when i spray far away, and more on clothes than skin. I found the smell very unique, Fresh and watery

Anything4talishas

Just picked this up for $10. A nice fresh and fruity perfume. Will be nice with Fresh Getaway from bath and body, or the melon and water Lilly perfume from old navy, bc of the melon notes and ozonic notes. Will be my go to for terribly sweltering summer days when I just simply want to smell fresh and clean and cool.

OtherHBT

Such a beautiful and fresh fragrance at an affordable price. Its certainly a feminine fragrance. Consistent since the 90's. Lovely !

zckybst

Bought this for the wife.

Very fresh and sweet smelling scent perfect for Singapore's hot weather. Honestly, I find that this scent is good for clothes and not skin. Through my experience, the performance and longevity was so good on my wife with more than 8+hrs. I can still smell it after she returned from work. It doesn't project more than an arm's length and leaves a soft trail of the scent. But.. Like I said, clothes only. I can also see guys loving and rocking this scent too.

Performance & longevity on clothes: 7/10
On skin: 4/10

Aidazl

This is most unique smelling perfume I have ever tried. It is fresh, juicy, sexy, little but sweet. All in one. Could be worn anytime anywhere without being too much. Blends with your skin and stays forever. Love it

smccmurphy

Clean, fresh and light. Aquatic melon. Faded into a skin scent quickly but I do really like it.

cunt3

Comes off at first as a very sickly sweet perfume but over time the freshness is more prevalent and feels very soft.

reginasiena

this is my first pafume as a teenager. Somehow I feel very professional and powerful ( 13 years old duh ) Ozonic is not in my dictionary back that day but I felt very fresh and girly in the same time. Endless parfume.

amberblackred

Strong but doesn't last long as in you can't smell yourself but does stay on the clothes. I love the cool water for men, my father has been wearing it for years and we all love it in my family and used to wear it. Then I got this one. It's very refreshing, something you'd want to use post shower. It makes you feel like you've just taken a shower. Perfect scent to put on after a long work day if you're out for a dinner and need to look/feel fresh.

olivialovesperfume

smells like literal water but gives me a slight headache

chelseet

I have a brand new bottle of this to trade if anyone wants it. Sprayed only 2 or 3 times. USA only. Send me a PM :-)

AquaJima

I always think of Ralph by Ralph Lauren as my first perfume. However, last night I had a sort of flashback and remembered a friend of mom gifting me a small bottle of this in 1997. I was 8 years old lol.

I don’t remember what eventually became of that, I do remember spraying myself a few times and feeling like a cold melon haha I think my favorite part was the beautiful blue bottle 💙 I thought it looked like one of those “Genie in a Bottle” Polly Pockets they sold at the toy store :)

Francilicious

doya

Aaand...I'm in elementary again, '97, watching Titanic, falling in love with Leo... :D
Perfumes are such time machines

Rosa5964

I bought this so cheaply, I wasn’t prepared for it to be so fresh and feminine. Soft and lovely. It’s winter here, snow on the ground, and this still smells just—light but beautiful.

XOXO_marcel

This is so soft, fresh, and pretty! A very gentle fragrance that will still make itself known. Extremely feminine. Slightly sweet, slightly powdery aquatic florals. Not as "blue" as the men's version, but they share the same core DNA. A beautiful understated perfume.

A. Rose123

Ozone, pool salts, chewy jellied melon candy, sea moss, soft, sweet, fresh salt air, clean but not in a way that fatigues the senses or smells like a functional product.

A spray of “Cool Water” and immediately “Porcelain” by Moby starts playing in my head and I feel like I’m on a laid-back touristy beach where age groups mingle and everyone is in a good mood.

Elana

As old as this scent is, I actually tried the scent Norsk Sno before I got around to trying Davidoff Cool Water Woman. I immediately felt like these two scents smell almost the same, except underneath it all I feel like this one has hints of Indian curry spice (like cumin or cardamom)? I also agree with the person who said this has hints of Febreze... Between the two fragrances, I prefer Norsk Sno, though this one can be found for a lot cheaper.

coffeebean83

Cool and aquatic. Fresh and musky at the same time. The melon comes through first and stays in varying degrees throughout. This is a cool breezy fall evening walk on the beach to me. I smell a fresh sweetness, the ocean and even the rocks/mineral deposits in the air. It's unique in it's realness imo. Probably not for everyone. I think this fragrance is good year round. Has good performance. Affordable. Would repurchase.

Peaches&Cream

Cool water is fresh and aquatic . A great perfume for the summer, I have not worn yet for summer but I believe that it won’t cause any headache. It’s unisex and I do get a cologne smell which isn’t strong so that is a plus. Will definitely be wearing this for the summer months next year ..as of right now I will wear it for fall/winter weather.

broskinski

buy this one if you wanna smell like a typical car freshener!! 🤡

gretta

This was my fragrance in 1998 when I was 21 and lived a carefree life. I loved it, went through a bottle, then moved on with my life.

Lately, I've been on an actual QUEST to find an Aquatic again, after years of wearing (for my husband) Coco Mademoiselle, just like everyone else it seems. I have Tom Ford's Oud Minerale (with a backup bottle) which is phenomenal, Jil Sander's Sun Bath (which I'm still deciding if i can do vanilla in a freshie), Ocean di Gioia which i like but there's definitely something sharp in the opening that's not quite right, and i have considered getting D&G's LB Italian Love, but can't commit to it just yet, as i mostly get a cloying lemon candy (but that amazing woodsy note is so good!). Finding an Aquatic has become somewhat of an obsession for me, and i actually get excited when I see the baby blue tabs (Fresh, Aquatic, Ozonic) highlighted under the Main Accords on Fragrantica. I hadn't even considered trying Cool Water again, thinking it would be outdated or too 1998. But oh my goodness, I was so wrong. This is so good. It's so comfortable and fresh and clean and I actually feel like I smell more like myself wearing this - like oh hi, there you are. As an EDT (that I heavily overspray), it lasts on my skin all day and i love how it transforms from a crisp, salty and masculine thing, to a feminine, fresh and sweet skin scent as the day goes on.

I simply love it, even after all these years. I'm so glad I tried it again.

kittywhiskers

Bought this a couple of years ago when I was looking for something that would make me smell like the beach; the salty ocean water, lying in the hot sand... Boy was I way off. I don't get any of that.

I really wish I had read the reviews for this before buying a full-size bottle. This smells to me EXACTLY like Febreze spray, or squeaky clean right out of the shower - not my style at all. I agree that it's very generic. I don't get any citrus, just lots of melon mixed with white florals and musk. The one time I wore it, it only lasted a couple of hours before it completely disappeared on my skin.

If anyone has any good suggestions for a proper, non-synthetic beachy frag, please let me know!

ballerina dropout

My air freshener smells better. 😐

johannagipperth

I don't get a luxurious feeling of wearing this fragrance - this is more of a "fresh up before you go to the gym" kind of scent for me. It's absolutely not bad, it's just not brilliant. For someone who is looking for something fresh and uncomplicated, I think it's a good choice. It's a classic.

astermaew

a while back i was looking for a better and more affordable alternative to ck eternity aqua for her.
this is the better version 100%.
ck was very sharp and bitter, cool water is more softened and natrual.
this has become my new everyday scent because its just so lovely.
im a big fan of the melon and cucumber family of scents and this gives me exactly that.
also- lily of the valley! you can never go wrong with a scent that has lily of the valley in it!
one problem- the sillage isnt too good. id like for people to get a little breeze of my perfume and think 'omg that is yummy i want to get to know her', but sadly the sillage just doesnt allow for it.
anyways, overall - i love

funeralparty

This is a pretty generic but refreshing fragrance. You get what you pay for because it only lasts about 2 hours and there isn’t really anything unique about it… aside from the weird black pepperish note that’s in the dry down? I don’t have a trained enough nose to say exactly what that is but I have such mixed feelings about it. I think this is what those rocks at the bottom of a fish tank smell like. I do like the floral and watery notes in the opening, they help balance out the strange base a little bit.

pharmafotographer

Ok. I finally picked up this bottle and I do like it. However, I do see the "Lysol wipes" reference, as it can be quite sharp for the first hour for me. The dry down is very mellow, but expect a salty ocean scent upon first sniff. It's giving "ocean bae" and I'm ok with that. I wouldn't wear it to work or a special occasion. Seems like your summer beach or fourth-of-July day scent. I'm glad I purchased, as it is an iconic fragrance, but it'll be reserved for highly active days for me!

davidabove

i bought this on accident and probably will end up gifting this. it's not bad, just above average. i see this definitely as a unisex scent though, definitely not "female". 6/10

Mobrien37

Nothing. I use it as a face mist and setting spray. Weaker than water

emilia123

Good fresh, summer scent. I like it for the gym or more active situations. I also think it leans more unisex than others have said.

haleykbhenry

The initial spray smells like a clean masculine cologne but dries down with more melon and becomes an aggressive sharp splotchy musk. I don't love it due to the screechiness especially in the extreme heat so my search continues.

I don't love Cool Water but it does get a mediocre passing nod like I can see teens starting out their fragrance journey with this one.

midnight dot

A refreshing perfume, almost as if i just got out a beach. Sometimes, it gives a rainy scent, to be honest. Not the best longevity and performance, unfortunately, but I still use it from time to time. Affordable and nice as a gift.

Jacquis

I've always suspected that melon and lotus notes were challenging on my skin. Never would I have guessed that they would both be in this perfume. Needless to say, huge fail for me. Wish I had done some research before purchasing. Not a safe blind buy. Seems to be a favorite but did not work on my skin.

anitaaa

tbh, this scent is perfect. especially for summer

heather62

I just decided last night that I am going to STOP buying so much perfume, particularly blind buying, and just stick with Coco Mademoiselle, but I had Cool Water being delivered today as my last hurrah. Oh my goodness, I love this. It's sparkling and fresh and just beautiful. I love love this - it's on my "keep" list. Reminds me a lot of Bond No 9 Perfume and maybe also of Light Blue by D&G. It's so fresh - I'm taking it with me on my beach vacation for sure!! Reminds you of the ocean -

Ticketgirl

It's nice that this fragrance has found its way to the cheap shelves at TJ Maxx and similar places. It's just what I need in this 100-degree heat! I have a small bottle and a large one...and I fully intend to use them up this summer. I have a hard time picking out individual notes in any fragrance, unless they hit me right between the eyes, and this one doesn't do that. For me, it's just a pleasant burst of fresh seabreezes. I'm getting a little fruitiness as the drydown begins, but I can't identify what it is. Perhaps this is just a well-blended perfume that leaves an overall impression. No need to overthink it.

KatanaBluebird

Safe and easy reach. I am always on the quest to find the perfect summer aquatic (that's cheap because I spend my money on winter scents) and this is nice but doesn't check all the boxes. It's not overly fruity or strong. And it's not that sunscreen-y type scent. It smells like skin after swimming in the lake once it has been on for about an hour and a half, but it is very close to the skin. I like it! But I don't think I will purchase this one again. Maybe I'll try a flanker of it though.

Alfatih_The_Great

I accidentally ordered this version instead of the male one however I was pleasantly surprised. It is very sweet, fruity, and clean. The melon note really pops forward and gives the perfume a different edge. I like it and my sister likes it even more so I guess it was her lucky day! It is her daily fragrance now.

Ryn08

I had this scent before but grew out of it. It always remind me faintly of the oceans/ sea. Very fresh, oceanic and aquatic scent. Lasted for a good 2-3 hours on me.

taurusenergy

Like if blue gatorade were a perfume. An iconic 90s sporty scent. Makes me want to watch a track meet in 90º weather.

Definitely not a must-have, but an affordable scent for workouts or sporty activities. I wouldn't repurchase.

greggheffley

smells like a really fresh candle, love it

jphsmellsgood

Not sure how they did it but this smells like going for a swim! I think it's such a fun warm weather fragrance.

BethyBee

I have a serious love of fresh citrus scents. This is one of my favorites. I can definitely smell the pineapple at the beginning and love the berries and flowers at the mid and dry down. This is a more complex fresh citrus than most I have tried. I love it.

fr3ckles

This was one of my first few proper perfumes when I was 12 and immediately became a summer scent staple (I only bought it because Evangeline Lilly and Josh Holloway from Lost were in the ads). I think this perfume shaped a love for aquatic, slightly ozonic scents for me.

For me the watery, juicy blackcurrant and water lily are the strongest notes and I still think that this is such a great non-overpowering, light but not unnoticeable summer scent. I've noticed other people have found the lemon to be a bit overpowering but for some reason that note doesn't stand out to me too much.

Dana79

I've been loving this forever, I still have it, and this is usually my signature scent in summer. It's fresh but sweet, a little bit synthetic but I don't mind, it's just yummie. In my opinion a fantastic blend!

wilkii

I read the notes before purchasing this and I am beyond disappointed. I get no melon or pineapple which I was really excited about. This smells EXACTLY like a bottle of lemon scented Lysol wipes. That's it, no more no less. Lysol wipes. I wouldn't blind buy this unless you're sure you can return it if you don't like it.

Advaita

Juicy 🍋 summery holy grail frag!

Imagine its over 40°C in your city and you are all "fuck this bs" and then you spray Cool Water on yourself and instantly you're transported to the beach... Sipping chilled lemonade, watching the waves glittering in the sun ⛱️

That's exactly how it smells like! First spray and instantly lemons hit you with their juicy freshness which settles slowly in a hour with a very cool ozonic vibe which later settles into some smooth creaminess which is prolly from the sandalwood, vanilla and musk notes

There's no other notes which I can smell, no florals or berries here and tbh you don't really miss anything else

It's perf for the sweltering heat of India! 3 sprays and you're good to go and be besties w the sun ☀️

rosehips

Summer in a tiny blue bottle. Still looking for the perfect aquatic scent that ticks all my boxes…this is not it. Sweetness gets sticky-sickly on my skin.

stxrrysouls

Not sure if the fragrance or my nose changed.... this used to be my favorite perfume in high school. A couple of years later, I sprayed it again, and I hate it now. It used to smell like clear lake water, now it smells like a disinfectant wipe. Again, I'm not sure if the perfume itself aged poorly, or if my nose changed. Based on some other reviews, I think it is the perfume that ages poorly.

Hypercolor

This is my mermaid perfume. It was my first real perfume and I bought it when it came out, as a teenager. I remember walking along the beach in my bikini feeling like a sea goddess wearing it. It is one of my most cherished memories associated with a smell. The bottle is beautiful and the ads were epic. It definitely belongs in summertime and I feel like it doesn’t work for “normal” day to day life but better on a beach day, holiday getaway, fun outing, destination wedding or something like that. You have to be wearing a summer dress.

puri27

This perfume has a pungent odor that tingles on my nose! This is no good! hate! terrible!

yojo

So fresh and summery!

blondemelancholic

Gorgeous blue-green scent that is the symbol of a fresh, clean, aquatic fragrance. It's definitely a limited fragrance -- I'm hard-pressed to find a reason to wear this outside of a summer day, and it doesn't feel quite appropriate for the office or for a date or night out -- and longevity isn't amazing, but for its rock-bottom price point, IMO this is just one everyone should try out. Perfect way to smell clean after a shower or dip in the pool.

Saraha123

This is a very fresh fragrance, great for putting on after a shower. Very inoffensive and lasts a decent time too. Its good for spring time

symphony5mvmt3

Love this stuff!! I'm kinda sad that I got it at the end of summer, but I guess I could use it as one of my inoffensive scents. Love the quince! It is definitely a fruity perfume, but not like berries. I don't know how it manages to evoke the beach without any sandy or salty notes, but it does. Reminds me of the overly sweet soft drinks made by local brands you get from the cafes that line the esplanade.

Patpk

Reminds me of Salvador Dali Laguna. Nice fresh scent

L'amour Rouge

I was surprised at the number of negative opinions on this one, however I do undestand why some people may not like it.
I am IN LOVE with this fragrance. Its most definitely more masculine/unisex and fresh, but i adore ocean smelling perfumes.
The first impression i got was that it's extremely salty smelling, like youre at the shore howering over the beautiful sea.
10/10 would recommend to everyone who likes ozonic fragrances.
Longevity is moderate, leaning towards the weak side, so you have to reapply it, but i dont mind that cause i love it!
Perfect for summer, winter and spring, autumn not so much.

paranoka

Received this as a gift and I had to warm up to it - at the time I was very new to frags, I had never tried nor was interested in aquatic/sporty scents and I preferred very feminine-leaning scents, whereas I think this one is a little more unisex depending on who you ask. But I came back to it after getting more into frags and there's a lot to like about this one! Super clean and fresh like just getting out of the shower after some laps at the pool, or the sunlight glittering on the ocean in the early morning. I don't really pick up on the fruit notes - I had no idea they were even there! - but after I finish typing this I'm gonna go smell it on my wrist and see if I can pick up on it now.

Shushanik

I haven’t smelled something this bad for a long time. It’s absolutely terrible! That cheap musc almost made me throw up.

dinosaursdidexist

I bought this for a tenner so I’m not too bothered that I rarely feel like wearing this. Occasionally though, if I’m tired and run down and don’t feel like my usual gourmands and want something simple and fresh I’ll spray this on when I come out of the shower. It’s super masculine to my nose and what you would imagine a “blue” fragrance to smell like and yes, a little spray cleaner-y but it’s nice to spritz on when you want to feel clean and fresh

Coconutrose85

I wore Cool Water as an early teen because I wanted to smell grown. It gives a very intense ozonic blast to your senses at first. However, it does mellow out after about half an hour. I would argue that it isnt so much fresh as it is salty. It is definitely sporty, but I'd caution anyone from using it to try and cover up gym funk.

I keep a small bottle for nostalgia only.

Veronjn111

Ugh I love this scent so much. It just SUCKS that it lasts maybe two hours if you're lucky. Super disappointing. I wish they would make an EDP that smells the same or very similar...

vlrtualboy

Went out on a limb and gave this a try because I love the classic men's Cool Water so much, but God this one is unpleasant. Smells like straight up spray cleaner to me, like lemon pledge almost but with a very vague melon twist. Really tart and overly insistent, absolutely hated it. The lotion was a little more pleasant but the sharp sanitary smell of this really turned me off.

sagasår

I LOVE this scent. Its sorta like when the sun sets and ripples of light shimmer on the water. There is a sweetness which is DEFINITELY the melon but it isn't over powering. This is a really beautiful slightly aquatic but truly truly refreshing. This is a must have. It has a real 90s surfer girl energy to if really. Its just gorgeous. 7/10

sabahstan3000

Didn't work for me AT ALL - I love a fresh clean scent but this had a sort of musky, sporty vibe to it that made me feel unclean and sweaty. Too cooling and masculine on me, without any of the elegance of Light Blue or true freshness of any of the Clean line.

GraviityFalls

it smells a bit like sun cream in my opinion

Freshblooms

I normally favour green tea fragrances but I bought this fragrance on the basis of Fragrantica reviews! So pleased i did.

A very uplifting scent with excellent longevity and no associated headache !
The main notes I can sense are watermelon and lemon, both of which are perfect if you are looking for a fresh, light fragrance for every day use

xxsaphxx

Very refreshing for a hot day, a girl I used to work with YEARS AGO wore this and she smelled amazing and I remember running to get a bottle of this right after. Aquatic but still quite strong so don’t be heavy handed with it. I like this and will use this through summer 🌺

The Wolf

Holy smokes! This does smell like Bond No. 9 Signature Scent.
My wife has this in her collection and I hadn't even noticed.
I sprayed it on and boom 💥. Bond Signature.

But here's the catch. This fragrance is verrrry weak.
Bond is 15X stronger, I kid you not. This wears like an EDC or even an aftershave.

This doesn't cost much, so If you want to smell like Bond Signature for 5 minutes to see if you like it, this is the ticket.

Cici20

Great dumb reach for hot days when you don’t want to offend anyone but still want to smell presentable. Out of the shower fruity aquatic scent. Don’t expect bomb level longevity and projection…it might as well be a body mist 😂

audreysoccer

Nice classic, dependable. Fresh. I can second that I like it better than D&C light blue. Light Blue gives me a headache. This does not. Aquatic and Floral.

Goner

I honestly really dislike this scent on my body. I got this 2 months ago it was on sale for 11$ at Marshall’s so I figured why not try. As soon as I smelled it I knew it wasn’t a love but I was looking for a light clean fragrance for my collection so I tried to layer it with a sweet body mist. I wore this 3 times and each time I didn’t like how it smelled on me. I do not pick up any of the fruit notes AT ALL or vanilla. The only thing I really smell is aquatic notes and powder. (Weird since there are no water or powder notes listed but that’s truly what I pick up). It smells fresh and clean not laundry or soapy/shampoo but clean. For me it’s too masculine and that’s probably why I don’t like it. Doesn’t last that long or project much but it’s pretty cheap so idk. If you like fresh clean watery/powdery/masculine scents you may like this but definitely a no for me. But I will try to see if I can make this work.

3/10

Edit: I truly still don’t like this. My initial thoughts are exactly the same. I decluttered it because it was just I was so uninterested in wearing it. I maybe tried 4 more times and I really hate this. Not for me at all but it’s so cheap so if you like this smell you win lol.

Overall it’s pretty close to the skin and not super long lasting. It smells slightly too masculine and powdery for my preference. I don’t like it but it is a cheapie.

4/10

Kroko

Very fresh, fruity. Ideal summer perfume, smells original to me. The pineapple is lovely note. After the top notes vapor, it is fresh flowery with a hint of pineapple.

Katie <3

A beautiful clean smelling classic.
I prefer this over Light Blue. You will smell fresh and clean all day. I really love Cool Water. I will always have a bottle in my fragrance collection.

Dark_Lady

When I just get out of the shower, and I want to smell like I just got out of the shower, I put on Cool Water. Except I already did just get out of the shower so the ritual is pointless. Seriously though, not a huge fan of freshies/citrus, but I do physical labor out in the elements in the summer and something like this is safer than a sweet perfume for that purpose. Will probably not repurchase when it's gone. It's too unremarkable and I will probably be on the lookout for something in the same vein that's less basic and shower gel-y.

echurch1979

Okay. I'm going to start this off by saying upfront, I hated the migraine inducing fog of Cool Water for men, that incessantly loomed about in the 90's. Ugh! You just knew the type of man wearing it, too; and always much too much. This was the ultimate man-spreading cologne of my formative years. So, it should not seem surprising that the female version slammed the same opinion into my heart, like a red stamp of disapproval. If you are still reading, you are either mad or glad for it, although honest perspective is all that I aim my arrows toward. I also fully appreciate one person's trash is another's treasure, and you are not required to agree, appreciate or approve of what I am about to say. This is not personal...Well, unless you wear an enormement amount of noxious cologne, and have a propensity for man-spreading. Then feel free to address those issues; this review may indeed be about you. Women reading, don't feel slighted by inequality - some of you can kill off complete species with the amount of perfume you don in an attempt to express yourselves, unbridled. I just don't have a catchy handle for that behavior in the female form, but rest assured, I am working on it. Moving forward.
Heart stopping levels of calone, "lotus", "water lily", and "melon", are nose blinding right out of the gate. I am using quotations, because I have never smelled a water lily or lotus flower, and any proposal of melon could only lie in some dark corner of modern chemistry. This smell is not present in the natural world. While we are on the subject of a synthetic reality, this scent boasts a fruit salad level of fruit and citrus content, which screech at me while being smothered with the weight of three atmospheres of "ozonic" and "aquatic" notes. Dry down only offers partial muffling of the perfume's death cries, but doesn't provide any movement or evolution of character. That is to say, its direction is completely inert - a one note wonder. Unpleasant and unnerving, Cool Water smells like it works too hard to be anything more than what it provides: a generic, drug store desperation, housed in a lovely shade of blue.

lemonsandroses

I haven't liked any of the 90s aquatic scents I've tried except for this one! Conceptually I really wanted to like perfumes with watery/aquatic notes but others I've tried just smelled to me like gel deodorant, missing that "oomph" that makes a fragrance alluring. Cool water is what I was looking for: wet-fresh fruity-floral, clean, likeable.

Update - It's been a few months and something happened. This perfume smells really bitter to me now, conjures the experience of getting soap in your mouth. Oh well :/

Rarara

Everyone should try it! I was so excited to, and i loved it for a few minutes! But it’s dried down to a soapy synthetic quease that’s giving me a little hint of a headache. Will probably be returning to bottle and continuing my hunt for the perfect salty citrus heavy-fruity fresh aquatic to get me through summer 🙂 unfortunately for me, the scents i’ve tried that i love of this variety have been waaaay out of my price range 💜 fingers crossed, maybe it will smell better tomorrow !

ScarletFBL

I heard people on Youtube refer to fragrances as "sparkling," but I didn't know what that meant...until I smelled this EDT. It smells like what a "commercial" ocean would smell like. Oh, or crashing waves. Safest blind buy EVER.

sand and surf

I absolutely love this fragrance! You have to apply a lot, but when you do, you get light, fresh, clean, airy whiffs of it all day. I feel sexy when I wear this one! It is light, but puts off a projection. One of my go toos! If it was a little bit stronger, it would be the bomb.

Puijila

Like the masculine version, this is a 'shower gel' fragrance, a fresh, solid blue, linear blob except even more so. I don't get any assertion from this at all, so maybe that is "feminine" if you have a rather delicate view of womanhood.

It's a nice way to make a shower gel type fragrance linger - and to be sure, although it doesn't start bold, the fragrance does last at the same power for a good while.

I got the set with the shower gel which is pretty nice, but not as nice as the shower gel for the masculine one. The masculine shower gel smells like a more powerful and less generic version of the common (though less so these days) aquatic masculine shower gels, but the shower gel (or "moisturiser" or I forget what they are calling it) for this smells very generic.

Ladies -- try the OG fragrance and see if you like it better. This one is pretty much as unisex as the OG cool water -- I feel the split as more yang v yin rather than masculine v feminine.

rosesblanches

First time I smelled this, I fell in love. Lady at the counter stared at me like I was nuts. I was in my early 20s, she thought my mum should be wearing this, not me. So I wore this day in day out and then one day, it turned on me. I started smelling a sharp, bitter note that punctuated every sniff. I thought my bottle had gone off, so it became my closet and room spray. I recently smelled a tester in the shop. Same awful sharp bitter nose-stabbing note. Whatever it was, it ruined my initial love of Cool Water. What it is???

dreamsofshrinking

I recently purchased this fragrance for the first time since I was an teenager! (I'm now 35!) It took me back distinctly to the moment in Superdrug with my best friend where I first tested it, and subsequently bought.
Now - besides being a bit of personal nostalgia, it's still a lovely scent. It's definitely 'cool'. It definitely reminds me of water and makes me think of summer days and the beach.
It doesn't actually smell OF the beach, or ocean, but it evokes that feeling. It's got the fruity florals coming through -all very relaxing and gentle.'Creamy' and 'cool are the words that come to mind most when I wear this.
I love the drydown more than the initial spritz, but unfortunately it doesn't last as long as I want it to on me.

jesz

2021 Formulation for Sale: No No No No No. They changed this so much, it is unrecognizable from the original. Try it out in an official store selling the new formula first. A muddled dishwater attempt at a replica. It's missing the pine/rosemary-like top notes, and the aqueous notes are near non-existent. It's missing the elegance. The way the classic scent would shift and take you on a journey, is gone. They should have named this new formula something else and just said that they discontinued the original.

I will say that their Cool Water Intense For Women is lovely though. Not really a replica of the original Cool Water, but 50 times more sophisticated than this formulation.

Emerald & Sapphire

I first wore this when I was in secondary school and during my first years of college, I loved it. I stopped wearing it then and haven't worn it since. Recently found a bottle in the back of my press and decided to give it another try. I am so glad that I did, it's just as amazing as I remember, I love it.

Brunapontes

This was a blind but that I didn't love at first, but it grew on me and now it has become one of my favorite scents. In my skin, what I can smell the most is watery notes, musk, jasmine and melon. It's a bit sweet but not much, and I feel like I'm bathing in a waterfall surrounded by a garden in the summer when I use this perfume, very fresh but it doesn't give a beach vibe.

fire2heart

I'll be honest. The only thing good about the 90's, for me, was the music. It was the worst decade of my life. And I'm not exaggerating. Anywho... I wasn't on the Cool Water train, or pretty much any perfume during that time except CK 1. But, that is another story.

Fast forward to a few months ago. I bought a Cool Water dupe from a wonderful woman who sells perfume oils. It intrigued me. So I found a good deal online and bought a 1 oz bottle of the real perfume.

I know it's been reformulated from the original.

This is really nice! Once the fruity top notes start to fade, I really get the ocean vibes coming through. It's fresh and clean smelling without smelling like fabric softener. I'm sure I'll be buying a larger bottle for the summer!

I remember I coveted this scent in 7th grade when it was first released. I smelled it in the pages of Seventeen magazine. I got it last year, and only wore it once. I pulled it out yesterday and decided it was so pretty, I needed flankers from Fragrancenet.

Anyway, this is femme for sure, but it has that unisex, almost masculine leaning vibe I get with a lot of the 90's fresh perfumes I own. It smell granny smith apples, pineapple, grass, and water. I'm always baffled that people say it's sweet. I don't get that, in fact, if I didn't know any better, this fragrance is definitely for a "bad" gal.

SmellsLikeMoneyWellSpent

The signature scent of my early teenage years. Not mine personally. It’s the SS of the streets back then.

Probably the most popular designer scent of late 90s in my area. The air was full of the original, its dupes, clones and fakes so easy to buy in the local markets. My mother had original bottle and it was potent. Much better than this new juice that I’ve bought to evoke the good old times.

It used to be so fresh and strong. Now it’s just ozoney-citroney body mist.

I have always imagined this is how Mediterranean Sea should smell. Then I visited the sea, so I know it’s not.

It will always be a part of my memory lane but my bottle got swapped. I just can’t wear it anymore.

Anyhow this is a classic and worth to know.

marta.chudecka

At first it has a strong cologne smell, which leaves behind a gentle freshness.
Although I have to say- it does not last. It's basically a pretty bodymist, you end up using a lot at a time. I haven't received any compliments on it.

I won't be repurchasing, it was a nice cheap fling but that's all.

perfumelovere

I remember smelling this at the mall my senior year in high school and instantly falling in love. I wore it throughout my freshman year in college. For me it was a standout but after a couple years I outgrew it and moved on to something else. In my first job out of school I remember smelling it on someone else and thinking it was too metallic, cold and astringent. Some perfumes are classic and timeless but this to me belongs in the era it was released.

sweetmandycandy

I read a review a couple scrolls down saying this smells like grease/deep fryer once it settles in your skin. Bought the perfume and didn’t think it would apply to my skin chemistry.

I was wrong. VERY WRONG. The opening is nice and smells like you’re fresh out the shower. 15 minutes later, and it smells like stale grease you left sitting in a frying pan. And it was STRONG too. I began feeling extremely nauseous and had to scrub it off, open my windows, turn on the fan, spray 3 other perfumes just to get the god-awful, nauseating deep-fryer grease smell to go away. I immediately put it up for sale.

Just beware that this either works great with your skin chemistry or smells like LITERAL grease. I thought she was exaggerating, I learned the HARD way. The other versions of this perfume I’ve tried (Intense, Night Dove, Sea Rosé) do NOT have that greasy smell although they’re not that impressive either.

aeva86

Davidoff Cool Water... it feels weird just smelling it in the store, now, 20 years after it was at it's height of popularity (we are a bit behind the US in my country when ut comes to trends). This perfume is an older girl, when you are 3 or 4 years younger. She has poufy blode hair, white tank top, lots of black eyeliner and pink lip gloss. She smokes cigarettes (filter stained with the sticky gloss), and chews minty gum. The smell of the cigarettes and gum mix with her heavy overspray of Davidoff Cool Water. She is cool, but also a bit scary. She always smells like this cocktail of scents. You never knew how this perfume smells on its own, until now. The memory of old cannot be erased.

gpaisley

Davidoff COOL WATER is a very pretty, refreshing, invigorating, 'zingy,' metallic, ozonic, salty, aquatic fragrance - that reminds me a bit of Bath and Body Works SEA ISLAND COTTON. Davidoff COOL WATER smells like a chilly cold stream running over smooth round pebbles and stones... it smells like cold DASANI bottled water. It also reminds me of SOFTSOAP liquid hand soap in the FRESH BREEZE scent or regular scent.

nadiamonte08

I have this one. It’s lovely and crisp but does not last long on my skin. It sort of reminds me of dolce e gabbana blue, but definitely not as nice. I find this to be a cheaper version both in price and smell. Once I finish this bottle I won’t buy another one. But I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

velvetnightmares

I like this scent when I first spray it on. It smells crisp, fresh, and watery, very clean, and cold. The idea of this scent is great, but after sitting on my skin for a few minutes it has a very strange and almost greasy scent, which I do not enjoy one bit. It makes me a bit nauseous. It pretty much smells like I have been hugging a deep-fryer.

AmazonGrace

Just curious if this is anything like the discontinued New West (for Her) by Aramis? I only have half a bottle left and cannot find anything close to it. (It's the only aquatic/ozonic I have ever enjoyed). Thanks in advance!

soulflwr

Me testing a bottle I found while cleaning out my closet:
*spritz spritz* *sniff*
🤔😃 "Hey...not bad."

My 5 year old:

AnotherDabbler

From something named Cool Water I would expect a refreshing, light and not too sweet scent.
But this is mostly sweet melon with a sweet powdery drydown. The lemon note may be fresh (if somewhat synthetic and reminiscent of windex) but it's completely overpowered by sticky sweet melon juice. Would not wear this in summer.
It's very recognizable though, and performance is decent for an inexpensive EdT.

compuestoanne

So fresh and aquatic, ozonic as well. I love it

Mona708

I consider this my first ‘real’, ‘grown-up’ perfume other than body sprays and scented oils. It was part of a perfume sampler my mother gave 14 year-old me for Christmas that included White Diamonds, Organza Indecence, some Oscar de la Renta fragrance I can’t remember, and the EDT version of Hugo Woman. I wore this, Hugo Woman, and this Egyptian Musk-style Body oil a lot through high school. I wore Cool Water to my first successful job interview during college, and I wore it a lot to other semi-special events during my adult life. Overall, it brings back happy memories for me, which is why it’s my #1 scent. I just hope when it’s time to get more that they haven’t reformulated it to death.

Wwoman

On me, this is entirely water lily and lotus, with a solidly aquatic note. I simply don't smell melon, which is more than fine for me because I'm not big into fruit scents, but for the price I had to try it. I can see wearing this in the summer when you want to feel cooler than it is outside. Not great lasting power or sillage on me, but I'll keep using it and enjoy the small bottle I have. If you are expecting big time melon scent, you may be disappointed.

svetlana.marochko.5

I hated it for about 20 years and then I accidentally tried it again)/ all of a sudden it started smelling great to me)). Now I have it and I like it)).

bintTapputi

It smells like detergent. For better or worse. 4/10

sunsetterxx

Very sharp synthetic citrus opening, like dishwash soap citrus or cleaning detergent citrus, then dries down to a powdery soapy sweet smell. Ew! INSTANT DISLIKE!

So disappointed because the key notes looked so good

Viktoria8267

This perfume is fresh, summery, so nice, feels like beach.
bottle is nice. I wear this on spring and summertime.
this perfume reminds me on hot summer days on beach and holiday. Try it 😀😀

350Neeno

While on the hunt for a quarantine summer fragrance, I stumbled onto this. I was looking for something fruity but not overly sweet with summertime vibes and for the price, this was a great blind buy.

I imagine this would be the smell if someone took a bunch of fresh melons, a few flower petals, put them into a water bottle and after waiting a few minutes, they took a whiff of that water, it would smell like this fragrance. It’s a nice, refreshing mix of watered down sweetness from the fruit and a little sharpness from the petals.

It lasts a decent amount of time on me but I do spray on skin and clothes and the sillage is decent.

All in all I’d say this is a safe blind buy considering the price. It’s not the best or most unique smelling fragrance BUT it is a great summer staple to have... kinda like your favorite summer dress.

PolishRose

The women's edition of Cool Water was the first perfume I bought (mostly I think because it was affordable and not sugary) and, considering I didn't at the time have much idea what I was doing, I could have done a lot worse. I wore it regularly through my late teens and early twenties and have very fond memories of it to the extent that I was not displeased to discover in Hermès’ Eau des Merveilles Bleue, a more grown up and refined cousin.

It's very aquatic (somewhat Little Mermaid), very fresh, very wearable. I might just have to go out and get a spritz to remind myself exactly what it's like.

Moukka

Fresh and sharp. I like it but I don't want to wear it. Sharpness is too noticeable and I can smell it all day. I can't tell what note it is, blackcurrant or calone maybe? I like it when my friend wears this or someone else than I.

Seducianne

Oh wow, I fell in love with this all over again. So beautiful, fresh, cheerful, carefree, really like a day spent on the beach enjoying a cold drink and a light fashion magazine, or having fun with your friends.
It also has an element of nostalgia to it, one can definitely tell it’s not a perfume of our times, but it’s still very wearable and, I would say, inoffensive. It also makes you wanna smell your wrist non stop. A GREAT exercise of perfumery.

imoore

It was a cost effective take on the so very much liked melon scent of the nineties in my youth. Love or hate!

menopalu

Purchased because nostalgia was kiiling me and I don't regret it. After all this years it's the same old cool water. Legend scent.

Miumiukat

Purchased because I wanted to remember what it smells like. Fruity and soapy at the same time. Not bad in any way but smells artificial, has an air freshener vibe.

velvetnightmares

I feel this is a more complex version of Rain by Clean. I could definitely see Rain being inspired by this one.
Very clean and energic scent, the melon is very present and adds that sweet, crisp and aquatic touch. And just as in Rain the water lily and the white musk gives it a feminine and soft feeling.

I imagine walking through a botanical garden on a rainy day, crossing a small wooden bridge over a little pond, floating water lilies and fruit trees near by, walking through the wet grass until you reach a beautiful wooden gazebo, surrounded by lilies, roses and jasmine.

Swedelish

Cool Water, the scent of my youth
Brings back memories of simpler times. Uncomplicated, fresh and the definition of aquatic. Not a conventionally feminine perfume. Actually I could see a boy or man pulling it off easily. The florals intermingled with an overwhelming freshness makes it completely androgynous.

Cool Water is memorable though for the day in 8th grade science class when my mostly full bottle fell out of my purse and shattered on the floor! My poor, sweet teacher was horrified. Fellow classmates weren't happy with me. Every student in every period was inundated with Cool Water for weeks and nobody forgot it for the rest of the year. I can't imagine how that would go over nowadays.
I learned a very valuable lesson... Never carry entire glass bottles of perfume in your purse!

chrystelsinclair

I got this scent in a box with body lotion and shower gel and thought "Cool, never had an aquatic scent!".

And..yeah. It's ok. It's fresh, it's clean but I don't know what it smells of. There is at first a very strong synthetic/artificial smell that makes me sneeze. Later, the floral notes open with something that reminds me of honey. But unfortunately, the artificial scent till comes forward...

I don't know whether I like it or not. I know it's a popular scent but I have a hard time with the artificial scent, it bothers me.

The lotion and shower gel are gorgeous though!

Coquita

Pretty standard aquatic EdT, suitable for hotter months, which has a moderate projection and lasts very long on my skin. On me, it opened with some unspecified overripe and astringent fruit scent (pineapple + quince?) but quickly morphed to the flowery-aquatic notes. However, this stage only lasted about half an hour, because the drydown came very soon and it has stayed for the next 8 h. or so: I can just perceive calone.
The fragance is OK and I see it pretty unisex, but it's not something I'd wear, as I think it lacks a personality. It's pleasant, though, and a good buy for it's price.

5/10

JovanaNS

My favourite EDT! Best I ever smelled. 😁

nonrom

A gift from my then-boyfriend, now-husband - I loved this perfume! I wore it to my first job and received quite a few compliments. I love the aquatic freshness, it's a fun, lovely scent.

These days I prefer something more floral, so I won't repurchase, but this was a lovely, beachy perfume for me.

Sillage and longevity were very good.

Loredana0108

Sorry in advance for my negative review, we are all different and our taste in perfume differs, too :)
So, I'm late to the Cool Water party. Very late, I'd say: I only smelled it first last week . No, I haven't lived under a rock until now, but somehow I've never come across Cool Water in my fragrance journey. And I'm glad I haven't because this is torture to my nose. I don't know if melon or some other note makes me so sick I want to scrub it off my skin. This fragrance is like a mix of dishwashing liquid and insect repellent spray. Urgh . L'eau d'Issey, L'eau par Kenzo, Light Blue, Acqua di Gioia, Calvin Klein one- they are fresh and aquatic, too, but so much better than this Cool Water. Maybe it's my skin chemistry playing tricks on me :(

Shan101beauty

Very fresh aquatic scent. Perfect for a hot sunny day after a nice long shower. At first spritz its a bit nauseating for me and makes me sneeze a lot, however the dry down is nice.

Hurricane_Hilda

Oldie but goodie and it’s so inexpensive. And it last ! All day and the next ! On your clothes. I wore this in the dead cold of winter and it still lasted ! This is so fresh and aquatic . If you want to smell like a clean sea mermaid buy this lol. As for the fruity ? I don’t smell it at all ... maybe my nose isn’t trained to pick that up idk. If you like to smell fresh / aquatic / ocean vibes get this bad boy.

NVK

In my opinion, this fragrance is one of the best aquatic fragrance for ladies. I'm a guy and I feel that this is a unisex fragrance. I own a bottle too. For me 2-3 sprays are enough. This fragrance is cheap at my place, has great longevity on my skin and smells amazing.

Overall: 7/10

JustSimpleThings

A nice aquatic melon scent. It reminds me of Jennifer Lopez Live Lux. I would buy whichever is cheaper out of these two, because I find the scent, silage and longevity very similar.

disintigratedwoman

This scent is pretty much the only perfume my mom has worn since I can remember. Either in the hot summer or during our frigid Canadian winters.. this scent would follow her, fill the car when she got in, and stay on her coats/scarves.

Very fresh, aquatic scent. Seems to develop in a pretty linear way, and have pretty good longevity/sillage, especially for the price (can be found for around $20 at the pharmacy).

Not crazy about this perfume in terms of its actual scent, since I think it's pretty common and smells generic - but I'm happy that it makes me think so easily think of my mom.

Annemarie

Today I bought myself a gift set of Cool Water Woman ($AUD39) and broke it out for a shower this evening. After lashings of the shower gel and body lotion I spritzed myself silly with the EDT. Very, very pleasant indeed. I find Cool Water Woman very abstract and the individual notes don't matter much; in the end they amount to nothing more than the familiar, melony-aquatic smell for which the fragrance is famous. In addition to that it has a bright 'glassy' texture which I like.

That said, I'm not swooning. It's a simple scent which may actually reside best with the bath and body products. Sillage and longevity of the fragrance are very modest, on me at least. I even suspect that the body lotion may have more heft than the fragrance.

Anyway, this is a big day for me. For years I have despised aquatic fragrances. I've loved and worn fragrance all my life but in the late 90s and early 2000s, which were Cool Water Woman's glory days, I was in a fallow period. My kids were little, we had not much money, my (now ex)-husband didn't like perfume ... On the rare occasions when I wandered the fragrance floor I was astounded that every second fragrance smelled harsh and weird with what I now realise was calone. I despised that stuff and thought it the death of perfumery as I knew it. No wonder, as I started to get interested in fragrance again, I went back to the classics, vintage if I could get it.

Years and a lot of perfume later I can now see the point of calone (and similar accords). In moderation they balance dense sweet floral and fruity accords. Vera Wang Princess, for instance, is rescued from chocolate-y disaster by a neat little slice of calone through it.

So finally I am starting to appreciate this genre. I'm still a long way from picking up a tester of Issey Miyake, but you never know! Miracles do occur.

Bonus: bottle is terrific. I rarely take this into consideration (scent is mostly what I care about) but this time ... hard to resist.

scottgiles86

Still a top summer fragrance after all these years. One of my favorites for women, and I think this is better overall than D&G Light Blue. The smell is more rounded, it lasts a bit longer, and it is less expensive. Fruity, floral, and aquatic. Wonderful fresh melon fragrance without the musk. 1 hour of good projection and 4 hours on skin. Mass appealing and safe for work. I actually like when my wife wears this in winter on occasion as it lends a crispness to the air. Excited to smell the intense version.

AlbusTran

It's my sister-in-law signature scent for warmer days. To be honest, I do like it. Yes, it's soapy, little simple but always make me feel good and fresh. It's a "really cool water" bottle. For this price, Cool Water is an excellent choice for women above 20 y.o and buy as a gift for your mother/sisters/lovers/... Not special, just a good and inoffensive scent.

WorldSpinsMadly

I have always loved this perfume. It's a total memory scent for me. I love smelling it on women. Almost any lady can pull it off and it smells fresh, inviting, clean, and slightly soapy. It's not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination but it's a classic women's perfume that is affordable and smells good on almost anyone. I really like this stuff. You can also find a 100 ML bottle at the discount stores for around $15.

DebiL1211

It is summer in a bottle. It is watery and floral and fruity but not super sweet fruity. It is fresh. This is a day outside on a picnic.

Longevity : 6 hours

Sillage: arm's length

Recommend: yes. It is a safe buy, inexpensive, not overly unique in my opinion but it is nice.

Repurchase: nah. I think I prefer Shi by Alfred Sung more.

Moss in Snow

This is another one that suffers for its ubiquity.

I generally always have a bottle of it rolling around somewhere (literally) but much of the time I tire of it very quickly as so many people wear it. I know many women who hate it, and just as many who worship at its alter.

I like it best when I come back to it after a few months of separation. I also like coming across a scarf in my wardrobe that has its scent. I find I like it better on clothes than skin.

shadaroba

I blind bought this perfume online and it has just arrived. I’m currently on holidays in Sicily, it’s pretty hot and I think this perfume suits this kind of weather. It is fresh, a bit sweet and bitter at the same time. Smells a bit synthetic as well which I don’t like. I think it’s an ok perfume for everyday use (I wouldn’t wear it at night though), a simple smell, not pretentious. However, for the price range I’d stick with CK one. I don’t think I will buy it again.

klein_gluck

I finally have it. And I like it a lot. Fresh, crisp, happy scent. very 90s, I guess. Definitely will use it a lot and will repurchase once it is gone.

katiesimpsonhair

Just purchased this after years of testing it in Lanzarote. I never went for it as the appearance never wowed me but it’s a hidden gem. Perfect holliday scent and nostalgic! Reminds me of sun, sea and tanned skin. Perfect 👌

FireDragon76

I just saw an elderly man who bought three big bottles of Cool Water Davidoff for his wife, today. I overheard him tell the sales clerk that his wife doesn't wear any other fragrances. It's not really my style, but I tested it and was delighted with the longevity and it's perfectly pleasant. The shape would make it easy to travel with, so either this or next Summer, I'll probably buy the smallest size for travel.

Georgia.24

I finally gave in and purchased Cool Water by Davidoff after holding out on purchasing new fragrances as i'm trying to use up my current collection. I paid roughly $35NZD for a 50ml bottle which I thought was well priced for an apparently iconic fragrance. I was seeking a cool, refreshing fragrance that would be perfect for summer as all my current fragrances I own tend to be more winter orientated. After reading various online reviews for CW I decided I needed to give it a go for myself. Cool Water opens up as a citrus lemonade scent to me, I was expecting a more water or sea salt, ocean kind of scent, to me this comes across as almost masculine with a light musk, melon and citrus - lemonade mix, which is almost unique - yet very familiar. I don't dislike Cool Water, but it is not what I was honestly after, It does feel somewhat dated, but I can see how this is considered a classic by many fragrance lovers. Cool Water does come in a cool blue bottle if aesthetics are an important factor of perfumes for you, While I can see why Cool Water is so beloved, I will be passing this one on unfortunately.

anneschrock1982

I have so many memories attached to this. It was my first real perfume and I have been wearing it every summer since the 90s. It is a fresh, sweet aquatic that doesn't seem to be changed or altered any. I mainly smell a blend of melon, sweet ocean air, and watery florals. It is almost unisex and great for daytime and the gym. My wife loves it on me and nothing screams summer more.

SoraM

I don’t know if I can review this fairly but here goes: it is a very familiar scent to me. I must have smelt this everywhere growing up. I think this contributes to the ‘air freshener’ comments it gets. Cool Water was so popular it must have been widely imitated and now it smells generic, and yes, dated. It is a pleasant inoffensive scent but not something I would buy for myself. If i’m going to the beach I would choose something like Olympea Aqua with the vanilla and saltwater notes.

Blossom_Puff

Even though i own a lot of expensive high end stuff like Roja,Fragrance du Bois,Clive Christian, for some reason Davidoff Cool Water remains an all time fav summer fragrance for me. What makes me happy is that they haven't reformulated it or at least i didn't notice. I know i am using it since the 90's and it is my most beloved beach scent along Virgin Island Water,Moonlight in Heaven and Jardin D'Amalfi. The tehnics are still amazing for this type of acquatic scent, that or i am using a lot. The price and the juice are so good ,i always get a 200 mls bottle. It makes me imagine myself by the sea,the breeze playing with my hair. Never ceased to amaze me how powerful the olfactive memory is. Still a big love in 2019.

DarlingNikki

This is one of those fragrances that I like in theory (or in bottle rather), but not actually on me. I agree with the toilet cleaner/air freshener remark and think I would actually like this in candle/room spray form rather than a perfume. It turns astringent and sour on me quickly and I know it's the lemon, lily-of-the-valley and water lily all fighting for dominance and creating a cacophony of screechiness on my skin that I can't stand. In the air, however, this comes across quite nice, fresh, comforting and familiar. Weird how contact with skin turns this into a hot mess...

Bubbles1964

Writing a review from memory, and recently when I tried this in a department store.

I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula but I suspect they did, because when I smelled it after a two decade hiatus, Cool Water seems different. Or it could be that I have changed and it’s the same lovely floral aquatic perfume, I’m not sure?

In 1996 I went to Hawaii for the first time and this is what I took with me, and I loved it. Cool Water will always take me back to that time in my life. It worked perfectly in moist tropical heat, and it fit the younger version of myself like a favorite t-shirt or comfy pair of sandals.

A scent filled with nostalgia. The low rating here seems to reflect taste that has changed, because this was the aquatic bomb back in the day.

dlilla

Ahhh, the memories.

Still an all-time favorite.

minamartin

I took the plunge and also a trip down on memory lane, for very personal reasons. I remember my mother, myself and my younger brother living in a small on bedroom apartment with slope ceiling. We didn't have much but we lived a comfortable, busy life. My momma wasn't particularly the girly type of women in her clothing style - i think fashion wasn't her first choice of self-expression. But i remember she had bags and bags of cosmetics, nail polishes and perfumes. All kinds of big brands - in retrospective i now know that; Jean-Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana - but back then i just cared about that there were a lot in the shelves in the bathroom, the glass door cabinet that we kept our porcelains and prettier stuff. The perfume bottles were all over the shelves behind the glass. This perfume was among the many many bottles. This was when i was around 7-8, starting school. When i was 14 my mother passed away. Unfortunately for moving reasons many of her stuff went missing, including this pretty bottle that's outlook for some reason stuck in my head all this years later.

Now that i have the kind of money and a certain mindset, i started to find my way around perfumes, fragrances, because i realized that they create some sort of feeling that is unexplainable. I was in the look for new perfumes and for some reasons the memory came back. I wanted to feel my momma's "aura" somehow, somehow and i tried it. It was a huge mistake. This perfume created a huge disappointment in me. Perhaps my personal feelings put this memory so high on a piedestal, that i was meant to fall down. Perhaps the memories are stronger than this perfume or just me and my mom are different people.

On me this fragrance is so cold, so distant that im not simply not feeling closer to my mom with it, but on the contrast - i want to scrub this perfume off of my skin because it is so alienating to me. It is strong, vibrant and so watery - despite that it has a kick of a donkey on the sillage and longevity -, and it is doing the absolutely opposite of creating a summery vibe for me. It feels like that im walking on an ice surfaced lake, which above the fog is filled with this scent, and it is unbearable to walk in it. But it is also a lesson for me; my mom's memory is strong enough for me and i don't need an object or a scent to recreate it. It is almost like it is beating the crap out of her memory, to me. I removed it from my shelf for one week usage and gifted it to my grandmother - my mom's mom. Interestingly she liked it - without me sharing the personal details with her. I simply stated it isn't for my skin, would like it? She sprayed it, used it for a day and she told me, she would take it, it is very refreshing scent. Perhaps im a the eastern egg in the chain that this perfume has woven - despite we all three have the silent, introverted, no bullshitter personalities.

I recommend it to people who are attracted to watery, fruity fragrances and like to be noticed in the summer daytime with something to too commerce and basic scent. It is strong 2-3 spray on the rights parts of the body you can go half a day with it, but you will not need more. It is definitely a summer and daytime scent, nothing else! On me it is an alien stuck on me, that i can't scrub off enough.

Tanya Bureva

I am using this perfume from years, and all the time going back to this one with a pleasure! This is EDT but for me it is with a long lasting power and freshness!

Joshua.Ramiah

People this is the best day fragrance for women, tops D&G light blue intense, Only issue is that it doesn't last long, so all i can say is buy the biggest bottle you can, You know the first movie is always the best and all the sequels can never live up to the first. Cool water maybe vintage but damn as a Man i can tell you that i can live with this smell for the rest of my life. the scent is a 10 out of 10 for me, Ladies i can't stress how important it is to have this in your collection. Please you got to smell this... hit the like button when you come back and figure out i was right!!!

Lilyflowertulip

oh boy, I wore the heck out of this when I was a teenager in the 90's. I would love to smell it again- I might have to buy a little bottle just to take me back to my childhood.
