Bishra by Tola is a Amber Floral fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Bishra was launched in 2022. Top notes are Cinnamon, Ginger and Cardamom; middle notes are Nutmeg, Fir and Clary Sage; base notes are Sandalwood, Hazelnut and Gourmand Accord.

Bishra is an Arabic word meaning food news or glad tidings, commonly believed to be harbingered by palm trees when they begin to bear the first dates of summer.

At the very end of a well-trodden path, among the scattering of ripe dates and beneath the sturdy but weathered tree, he uncovers a bottle of nostalgia. Sunlight glints off its surface, the same rays enveloping him in warmth and fondness. The tree bears his weight as he leans against it despite its aging body and generously shares its gifts time and time again to create myriad of new beginnings. All he can sense in the moment is the familiar but fresh scent inviting him back to a time of joy and laughter and he cannot wait to share his bounty again. A sparkling fresh cardamom scent creates an inviting and spicy oriental fragrance but the discerning scent of dates and coffee infused with dry fruits and a note of cinnamon gives Bishra its own personality. Underneath it all, the softness of vanilla and white musk compliments the strength of Oud and Patchouli.

This fragrance got this magnificent and classy vibe that makes me feel like I just stepped out of my comfort zone, as usually I'm not wearing this kind of perfumes but I kinda love it.
The opening notes are for me super cardamom. As it settles down it is perfectly balanced mixture of warmth, sweetness, and freshness.
It's the kind of smell that just gives me the happy feels and I appreciate to wear this.

Bright spices: lots of saffron, nutmeg and some cinnamon in the background. Subtle sweetness with gooey (kinda honeyed) undertones. Gourmand, but too sweet, smells like Christmas spices for cookies or mulled wine. Very elegant and bold at the same time.

Bishra in Arabic means "good news" or "glad tidings". It is believed to be heralded by palm trees when the first dates begin to produce in summer.
A fragrance that for me communicates with its notes the very beginning of this season, with very accentuated spicy hints, in particular I feel the cinnamon, sweetened by the nutmeg, and made more incisive by a very pleasant touch of Oud.
It brings joy, just like the arrival of good news, it is particular and in my opinion truly original.
I would define it as full of colours.
"The Laughter" painted by Boccioni, which I always hope will pervade everyone's hearts.

Wow the storie I have connected to this perfume:
His sweet eyes looking at me buying this at the counter of the perfume villa in that Emirate, through the door as he adjust his gutrah. I tell the sales lady that the perfume reminds me of my father but also our house in winter, it's definitely the sage and fir. At times I get trails of our boat or our sauna.
One day the bottle breaks in my bathroom, I had my bathroom smelling of a candied sauna for weeks, and every time I would have taken a shower during those days I would have felt like in a Turkish bath where someone would have spilled arabic coffee all over the bench. Yes, this is exactly what it is, cardamom on a fireplace in a steam room. If you can carry this, this is what will leave gently behind as you walk.

heeey! What a temper! Pinch!
It opens decidedly spicy and medicinal with strong doses of ginger, nutmeg marbles, sweet cinnamon and fresh cardamom.
Fir green and sage with a shiny and disinfected leather effect mixed with an alcoholic base of liqueur for sweets. I am reminded of a glass of Alchermes overturned on the arm of a leather armchair.
At this stage I find it strange, strong and not at all attractive. This one has a masculine, boozy, super sweet and cheeky aura. It's as if the spices in here raise the alcohol content.
On my skin it takes a long time to become gourmand and remains for most of the duration like an evaporating distillate.
In the finish, the spices retract a bit without letting go, bringing out a nice soft and powdery note of hazelnut and sweet sandalwood.
... Did I mention it's sweet?
I prefer it on fabrics.
Abnormal and cute.
