Ooooh, I don’t like this one. I’m not ageist but it’s giving granny. I was hoping it would smell like Mojave Ghost or BBW wild sands when I saw the cactus note but it’s more sour and I don’t think the “cappuccino” gimmick smells good. Please note I got the body mist version of this and I’ve smelled the perfume and the perfume smells superior. This one has a strong floral and also has a strong cleaner/detergent smell which pulls sour, and I also get the cappuccino smell and its realistic but synthetic if that makes sense like it has a creamy espresso note but it also smells synthetic, the fruit facets are in the far background. This is mainly a sharp citrus floral scent with some unique razzle dazzle. If you like CK euphoria maybe you’ll like this.

It’s smells too much like furniture polish for me to appreciate the uniqueness, though.

buithao3006.1

My husband gave me as a present of recent Valentine and I love this smell so much. Many people around ask about this smell so I believe this is really good

Vnp322

This is such a beautiful, deep, seductive smell. It's fruity, musky, deep, and alluring. Has a fresh feeling to it as well so it's great for a hop out the shower scent, this would have to be my second favorite from the vs very sexy line. You smell like a woman who has her sh*t together.

Betty's

I love this! I’m usually a gourmand girl but this smells intoxicating. I suppose it may depend on your body chemistry how this comes across but on me it’s warm sweet seductive and sensual with only 2 sprays it projects. It’s also clean at the same time and not jarring or offensive. This is def a head turner and will have people stopping you left and right to either ask what you have on or if you’re single lol. The name is definitely accurate I would also say Siren is fitting bc BA-BY this is for grown women who want to give soft & feminine while still having a mysterious alluring edge. 10/10

maryramone

My friend gifted me this in a very small sample/travel(?) size bottle Christmas along with the lotion. Smelling it from the nozzle, it smelled very strong and old lady, but let me tell you. As soon as I sprayed it on my skin and let it dry down… it smelled amazing. It’s one of those scents that smell better on the skin when they settle down. Trust me on this one lol

Hurricane_Hilda

I have the spray of this and it smells good. But I must say I don’t agree with the notes I would have NEVER guessed coffee anything. This smells really clean soap and then it dries down sweet. Really weird

Chellebelle4u

This scent has grown on me. Turns out the only very sexy I don't like is orchid. This one lasts awhile on skin too.

hilarisa

it became quite sweltering on my skin.
it's defınıtely bad for me.
disappoint

SJ Fragrantica

I didn't really wear perfume when I was younger, but I find it hard to believe that THIS was the perfume everyone lost their mind over in middle school. The powdery scent is overwhelming, and the flowery notes are less "carefree" and more "your social security number is 2."

NoirCottoncandyclouds

NOTHING like the sex-bomb fragrance that used to be. It came out in 2007, and gained massive popularity from the beginning. But since then it has been reformulated several times, with each new release smelling less and less like the original. This one is just an absolute head ache inducing, nauseating mess, that is now more reminiscent of something a Grandma from 1989 would wear. Victoria Secret swears they didn’t ever change the formula. I find it absolutely offensive they state this. I will never be over this perfume. 😢😢😢😢 it was every man’s weakness. 💔💔💔

Mrs.Smellgood

This scent lives up to its name and is definitely so sexy! Great as a going out scent or even a bedtime scent, it smells great!

The13thHour

This is my second favorite perfume from Victoria's Secret. Very Sexy is so accurately named and it will get you compliments. To my nose and how it settles on my skin: The blackberry, clementine and musk are the stars in this fragrance. I only wear this in the autumn and on cooler spring days. It turns slightly on my skin in the heat like sour-dying-flower-petals. I love to mix this with Dream Angel sometimes.

PerfumeAdore♥️

On me, this is a very pretty sweet citrus with a powdery nuance. It lasts about 3 to 4 hours until it becomes a skin scent. It is easy to wear. I can’t imagine anyone not liking this one.

kmyers846

I love this scent! I get so many compliments on this perfume. It's a berry scent with warm sweetness, spice, with some floral, and woodsy notes. I would only wear this in thr fall, or winter. It's long lasting and has a moderate sillage.

erin8218

This hasn’t always been my favorite, but I’ve grown to appreciate it! To me this is a sexy mature citrus fragrance with a vanilla dry down and some musk. I’m surprised that most people consider this a floral but every nose is different 🤷♀️ I like this for a nighttime event.

supergirl9412

Got a rollerball of this, and .. meh. It’s got a somewhat generic bright-ish opening that’s followed by a blackberry that’s more floral than jammy (okay, maybe it gets a tiny bit more fruity as a skin scent), and it dries down to a musky-clean skin accord that’s … fine. Maybe a little more sour than I’d like.

I guess I’m missing out on the complexity suggested by the notes, and I’ve been trying to convince myself that I like this more than I actually do. It’s okay, though, and I can see why people like it.

jarofscents

This is a dark mature scent. Suitable for boss babe vibe. I love how this sit on my skin, lasts fairly long as well. I wore this on a trip and the person sitting next to me on the plane said I really smell good. Take note that I sprayed it about 5 hours ago. Since she still smelled me, I guess it's longevity is really that good. It smells sweet and fruity on its opening then it will turn musky on its dry down. Will definitely repurchase this. I just hope VS won't discontinue it or something.

anraneiro82

This smells too mature for me. A little masculine too.

GODSREBEL

IMO, this definitely is appropriately named. Everything about this fragrance is what I would consider very sexy in a perfume.
Although, I don’t feel it is “dark” or “mysterious”. I feel it is not a mystery that the fragrance’s statement is conveying it is sexy, seductive, alluring, and intoxicating.

I think it is very good for winter and fall, but it is also just fresh enough to wear in summer and spring. I am currently wearing it in the spring and it is really superb.

However, I think it’s worse performance might be in really hot summer days. I don’t know yet, but that is just my guess because some of the notes feel a little too “rich” to radiate in high heat without being a bit overwhelming.
But in the spring days it seems to still work nice. I still think I would wear on a nice breezy summer night.
It does make me feel very sexy when wearing it. I feel more confident as well.
On my chemistry it comes off very feminine, yellow florals, a touch of mimosa, amber and a good base of musk. I don’t smell the blackberry or any of the other notes others have mentioned.
It also smells very similar to Pure Poison to me. Everything that I’ve stated about Very Sexy, I would say the same about Pure Poison. The difference, for me, is Very Sexy I can smell more of the yellow florals. And Pure Poison has a much more mysterious and dark vibe to me. Very Sexy smells like a sexy woman who knows what she wants. Where as Pure poison smells like I may have a few sexy options of what I might want, you never know lol.
I get many compliments from men and women. But It might not be the best option for office wear. Nor would I consider it a “safe” blind buy.
I really enjoy that my husband loves this on me. He says it smells addictive because it makes him want to keep smelling it.

This is obviously just my personal experience. It might not be the same for everyone. But if it helps, for reference, my favorite perfumes are gourmands and orientals. My body eats up most fragrances, so I usually tend to wear ones that many people would consider strong.

Overall I just really love this fragrance and any time I want to feel like a confident sex vixen, this is the one I reach for :)

cunt.dracula

I have the body mist of this, and it's very good. Obviously not as long lasting as the perfume. If you are a black currant or plum lover, this is a perfume for you. The musk is balanced with the other notes of orchid, so it's not solely a "fruity" perfume. Definitely a date night worthy scent, for a sexy lady. It lives up to its name lol get a sample of it.

jamercader

My mom had the 2007 version and it smells so good and lasts very long. My first very own was the 2014 bottle version. And it’s way weaker than what my mom had. It’s still my go to perfume on winter and date nights. A true to its name perfume. A very sexy, alluring lady and expensive smell. Not good for summer though.

Paolavvh

De los mejores perfumes que he tenido! Mi top 1 de favorito! No he encontrado algun otro que se le asemeje y me encanta. Siento que es muy único, sexy y coqueto.

Bkboynxtdoor

An ultimate 2000s gem. It’s held up well. I liked the previous versions a bit better, but I think this one is much closer to the original debut version. It’s a dry sweetness, and a dark berry punch with a little bit of coffee and pheromones. Maybe a hint of rose?. Honestly it’s a love/hate. I don’t hate it but sometimes I just can’t love it enough to wear it. But when I do have it on, it feels sleek like liquid latex. Sexy!!!

AlaskanAngel

This pulls very floral on me. Not a hint of coffee anywhere. I agree with those below who have concluded that the actual scent is a mismatch to the aesthetic advertising it. This is categorically a classic feminine fragrance, a basic sweet floral musk. It's entirely domestic, not dominatrix. It's nice, not screechy, blend is fine, sweetness pleasant. This just wasn't made for me.

Review of an offical 7.5mL bottle that was a free gift with purchase. Decluttered.

erika.isme.98

I recently got a rollerball of this. It's nice! Smells like cactus, musky blackberry, and faintly like cappuccino. I see why it's called Very Sexy but it's a bit more like a refined woman than a strictly wild promiscuous one.

Brittbritt

I always find it funny when things that smell so fresh are branded as "dark" or "sexy" don't get me wrong, this scent smells amazing and makes me feel amazing, but for me, one of the most noticeable scents in it is the cactus and powder. A nice crisp fresh powdery scent, I'd mostly equate it with a spring day. Totally opposite the bottle/marketing!
This is a scent I always come back to!

Tinabill

Although VS starts a bit sharp and synthetic, it soon calms into a very attractive smell (but not necessarily in a “sexy” way). It mixes some fresh florals with spices, subtle fruits and clean musk very nicely. There is some soft powderiness running through as well. I find the composition very appealing. I only have the mist and it lasts quite well. A strong like for me.

moonsunstars

I bought this blindly earlier this year, and was honestly not sure what to feel about it. Yesterday I really felt like pulling this one out of my drawer for some reason, so I decided to wear it to work today. I have to say….I think this now might be up there as one of my favorite Victoria’s Secret fragrances! I love the deep floral nuances, and how they blend with the pepper. The blackberry adds depth to the Vanilla Orchid and truly makes this quite a sexy fragrance. It surely is one of VS’s more unique offerings, and will be staying in my collection!

Maabena85

I bought this perfume 2 years ago . Its for matured woman from 30s. this is my second bottle. the performance is great. I wear from 7am and it lasts on me mx 6hrs

guapbaby

It’s too busy for me. I’m glad I only got a roller ball, had I sprayed a full spray I would be sick. I’m smelling melon, the opening is so similar to Perry Ellis 360. Which also nauseated me. I prefer the tease line

VMonster

New to my collection - body mist version. This is totally unique and not like anything else in my current repertoire. The notes scared me a little, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. I know this will be gorgeous in the fall/winter and for the rare date night. x

EauElla111!

Oh how I've wanted to love this one. Has many notes that on paper should be beautiful on me. I've tried it several times, but I just can't wear it. My skin & it just don't mix well. Finally starting to suspect it's the clementine, mimosa, pepper & maybe cappucino notes. I'm finding the first 3 notes are frequently found in fragrances that don't work on me. I find it amazing how skin chemistry can make or break a fragrance. The blackberry, orchid, cameilla, amber and wood notes would normally be fabulous on me. Oh well at least my 26yr old DD can enjoy it.

chicagogirl

Ugh this is soo underrated! I think of all the VS scents this one is def the best. I think the name is very fitting. It's dark, mysterious, extremely sexy but in a confident subtle way... not in a loud, demand all the attention tom ford black orchid way lol. It's a fresh and clean yet warm and sultry dark woody peppery floral. I don't think Very Sexy is comparable to any other perfumes that exist (other than its own previous iterations/predecessors), it's so unique! I honestly dont think it really smells like any of the notes lol and it doesn't smell fruity at all either. I think if any of the listed notes are most prominent, it's amber, wood, musk and florals. I think of all of the other popular VS perfumes I have (heavenly, tease, bombshell) very sexy is definitely the best one. I think it's perfect for winter/fall but it's light and fresh enough to absolutely work for warmer months too.

Whitney1234

This is such a strong scent. I personally don't care for it. It isn't an old lady perfume, but it is strong like one. It could pass for a unisex scent, in my opinion, as it has a deep, musky, masculine element to it.

baddie

I like this, it's very strong but I do enjoy it for night time if I'm going out. I usually go for lighter and sweeter scents but this one is nice for a change. PS: I have the mist

bbgail01

Beautiful dark and mysterious orchid. It is a very unique scent.
On me I only the orchid, amber, blackberry, and musk come through. It is a slightly sweet but equally powdery floral. I usually hate powdery scents but it just works so well with the orchid.

I hate Victoria's Secret but I have to give them credit. It is beautiful. Definitely give this one a smell if you're looking for something a little edgier but still feminine.

fairycoffins

I’ve given this one several chances but I just hate it, I’m not warming up to it, and I probably never will. With my body chemistry it smells mostly like cactus, musk, and pepper, with some flowers. There’s almost a cucumber melon vibe but very mature and not even in the same ballpark as anything remotely sexy, honestly. Not a fan.

perfumelovere

I just received my sample today. I was curious about this one based on the notes. For a modern scent the profile is quite unique.. cactus, cappuccino, hortensia, camelia. It's a pretty scent although I'm not sure what I'm smelling exactly. I would consider this a floral clean freshie with a touch of green. I think it's the pepper and cactus that balance out any sweetness. I don't get any cappuccino and if florals aren't your thing, you might want to steer clear of this one.

If you're looking for a nighttime amber oriental kind of scent, this is not it but I can see how the name and bottle might be misleading. If VS still sold the same formula of perfumes from the early 2000's like Body, Pink, Rapture, Dream Angels I'd have all of them in my collection. They were strong, long lasting, memorable, high quality, suitable for all ages and really embodied the brand at the time. I'm lucky if I can get three hours from perfumes these days but my skin may be absorbing them more now than when I was younger.

asa.n.ford

This is seriously underrated. I have no idea how to describe it other than that it's appropriately named.

Sekitchen85

Before my husband and I began dating WAY back in the day, this was my signature scent. I actually caught him smelling me lol. People would say they could smell my scent before I walked in the room. When I waited tables people used to tell me how good I smelled daily, men and women! I stopped wearing this after my first bottle of Chanel, but I think I need this break this out again.

x0x0asha

I'm so confused by the comments. This is MY GO TO. My husband loves it, one of my other male friends complimented me on this its SOOOOO SEXY as the name says. Maybe it just works well for me and I have some top brand fragrances that I'll pick this over.

correspondencepersonal

Congratulations to Jean Claude Delville!
This perfume won several awards for good reason. There is a simple complexity to this perfume which puts it in a class of perfumes all to its self. The creator of this is operating on an expert level to have blended this formula. The first 20 minutes after the initial spray is outstanding (there is a reactive champagne sparkling effect that happens on the skin as the notes literally dance), however this quickly dries down into a barely noticeable perfume which resembles a body spray strength.

-----------

In response to reading some of the reviews that say that this is not "sexy"...

So much of what you bring to a perfume, becomes the perfume.

If you are looking for a sexy vamp type perfume. This is NOT it.
Look more in the direction of Poison by Christian Dior. I love that one, but it is a dramatically sexy hot number which is more boudoir... a little provocative to wear in everyday occasions. It is more of a "date night" type perfume.

Although there isn't anything in this formula that makes this appear like a sexy vamp, this has a sweetness and freshness which puts this more in the category of a "girl next door" scent which is pleasant and possibly even office friendly (safe). The vibe I get from this is more in the range of spa-like because this is a light expression. (The musk notes lead, this keeps the overall impression of this perfume lighter than the typical vamp vibe). This isn't an "in your face" type of "sexy" expression that you'd wear for going out clubbing, (although you could wear it any time and any place). Although it may not be overtly sexy vamp, this has some flirty chemical notes within it which have an interplay with the skin, there's a fizzy type quality which I really love. I call it "a little bit of Tinker Bell" - which is sparkling, as if the notes dance upon the skin.

This is a gorgeous perfume which has its own appeal and allure.
This is an amazingly fresh clean fragrance that has that little bit of "magic" which makes it sparkle.
I love this one, it was a love at first spray for me!
Truly a great perfume!
Again, Congratulations to Jean Claude Delville!
I believe that this is a Masterpiece!

------------

This perfume wears like a culinary creation that strikes a balance between sweet, sour, pungent, and salty; the blend is sophisticated and ground breaking (I have not smelled another perfume that strikes this type of culinary balance -- I have a hunch that this will either appeal to you, or not -- due to the notes within this perfume - (it will be a difficult perfume to remain on the fence with). The chord registers in the alto range and has a sparkling Tinker Bell magic to it, like champagne. This was unique when it first came on the market - and to my knowledge, there are very few fragrances that smell like this (although it will probably have some copy cats by now). This is unexpectedly whimsical and enchanting.

Victoria's Secret Noir Tease is one of the only other perfumes by VS that has this type of sweet/sour type chord (although it does not have a salty or pungent type note). That is another perfume that works extremely well with my chemistry. I will have to do a comparative test soon - between Very Sexy and Noir Tease.

Kim Kardashian's signature scent has a similar sweet/sour chord - but is slightly higher, moving more into the soprano range. If you like Very Sexy - you should also try Kim Kardashian's signature scent.

-------------

Several reviews mention this, this perfume wears in a way that is slightly soft and doesn't last long. There are body sprays that are more intense than this. This is the only draw back. However, this is a unique perfume, very fresh. If you like this to last longer, plan to purchase the purse spray too.

Perfectleebeautiful

Ughh I wanted to love this one so bad! Alas, I find it’s only okay on my skin 😔. I really liked the scent in the bottle. I thought it smelled so sexy. Then…I sprayed it on. It doesn’t smell bad, but I hate this particular scent profile. It’s fresh. Not what I was expecting. I’ll definitely end up giving this one away. It makes me nauseous.

LeSucreRose

I actually find this formulation very light and fruity, good for a warm day. I also find it somewhat casual and maybe flirty, but like another reviewer stated, not particularly sexy. I would reach for this on a casual summer day when I want to smell fresh.

Tovah

The coffee notes, which were what appealed to me the most, are fine from this version. This is loaded with cactus and fruits. It’s super pretty. But completely devoid of any animalic or coffee sexiness. It’s very pretty, but not all that sexy. I like my sex full of patchoulis and vanillas and musks (particularly Egyptian). This is perfect for my job as a social worker for homeless teens.

vanillapeach

This is my go-to for a date night with my boyfriend. It is a very sultry scent - if a little black dress was made into a scent, this would be it.

The only criticism I have of this scent is that it has very weak staying power.

Vicky456

This smelled so good when I tested it out at the store before buying. Then it started smelling so gross and was a headache inducing floral. I would spray twice and immediately get a headache from how floral it was, it definitely wasn’t like that when I tested it. This is not sexy smelling, this is pungent smelling. Im glad I could give this away to a family member who liked it, this was not it for me.

Anjxin

I really wanted to like this. It smells so beautiful in the bottle, or sprayed in the air! However it is not for me because it smells way too bitter on my skin. Must be the clementine or the citrus notes, sucks because this is the only Victoria’s Secret perfume I actually like. I just hate it on me and it does not work with my chemistry

TeacupBreaker

Whenever I smell this I kind of go, “Ahhhh,” 😌 mentally. It’s a really nice, soothing, warm scent. I can see why it’s called “Very Sexy”—it’s definitely darker and more interesting than the Bombshell line. At the same time, it’s never heavy or pushy like a lot of darker fragrances can be. It reminds me a bit of Abercrombie 8 because the clementine + musk makes for a lovely combination. For having such a variety of notes, I can’t say I necessarily smell very many of them—but that just means it’s well-blended.

My one gripe with this is that it fades very quickly—I’m talking 30 minutes quickly. But it hits so many other marks, I definitely think it’s worth it.

la.femme.scent

This perfume is mostly musky to me. I'd say it's sexy, but more in a fresh way rather than animalic. It's like, it was trying to go there but then pulled back to appeal to the masses. So, sexy but safe. I wouldn't wear it to work though, maybe on a second or third date type of a scent.
Anyway, I get the cactus up top and it smells green, slightly earthy, and very watery. Very unique.
I then smell a sweet dark fruit, but not too sweet, but ripe. I would've thought it was plum, but blackberry fits too.
Then, it's all musk. That musk is there from beginning until end but the other notes fade away.
I tried it on someone else and was able to pick up the clementine on them but not me.
I really want to smell the coffee note, but I don't smell that at all.
It's also a little spicy, but not too much.
Lasts around 3 hours and I think it projects pretty far.
Not bad for VS, but has a lot of room for improvement, but given that this is reformulated, the original formula probably had more to offer.
Not worth the retail price in relation to the quality, but sale offer is pretty reasonable (under $40 for 1.7 oz).

Edit: (9.15.2021) I forgot to mention that I smell a civet like note. Artificial but rather pungent and sexy.

unsrsly

This is so so pretty. I agree that it has a darker vibe too it. It’s mysterious because it is so well blended. This isn’t the most unique thing I’ve smelled but it sure is pretty and a people pleaser. I’m a fan.

Jody_ody_o

I purchased the whole Very Sexy line in the large size (Original, Sea, Night, Orchid, and double rollerball with Wild Palm/Beach). The Very Sexy line of perfumes are my favorite "cheap" perfumes. I wear them depending on my mood, the occasion etc. This is a unique scent for sure! It is definitely SEXY. I've gotten a few compliments wearing this one.

It smells more expensive than it is. The scent is so well blended that it's difficult to pick out any one note, which is a plus in my book. It's difficult to describe. I would describe it as soft, feminine, very mildly sweet, slightly fresh. You can really wear this day or night. Not really a Winter perfume, but any other time of year. I would 100% recommend any of the Very Sexy line, especially for the price.

Vanillawood

I got this perfume as a gift, because I mentioned that I kind of liked the Night version of it. I gave it a fair chance and wore it for a week or so, but it smelled so cheap on me. To me, it smelled like someone took a bunch of random cheap perfumes, mashed them together into one, and hoped for the best. Unfortunately I had to get rid of it. Did not smell sexy to me at all.

SumaitaB

This is almost like the kind of scent you get when you enter a ladies spa. Idk why they named it very sexy it doesn't radiate sexy energy to me but it's better than most vs perfumes in terms of being a little more complex, sophisticated and elegant than your typical bombshell or tease but the longevity is absolute trash

LisaMCollins

Today is my first full wearing of this perfume. I'll be back later for a report. But one thing I can say is if you do not like powdery scents, then this one is not for you. If you do like them, it isn't baby powdery but more like the scented powders perfume makers have in their bath sets.

Edit: Now that I have worn the fragrance from 7:30am-4:00pm (7.5 hours) I will update.

The scent becomes quite close around the 3 hour mark, but you still get whiffs of it from your wrists or hair. I did apply the fragrance with a rollerball application, all over my chest, forearms, and behind my ears. The scent is very powdery in the first 3 hours, but settles into a nice mimosa-wood-light amber scent that is still here as a skin scent coming into the 8hr mark.

melikemeredith

i'm sorry but it smells like a cheap floral perfume on me. i wouldn't buy the bottle.

AgnesK

One of the best perfume in Victoria Secret.my husband said to me, he like this perfume because this perfume have seductive scent and he request me to wear that more often.maybe because musky blended well with hortensia..longevity is moderate.so i will repurchase again this perfume..

RB2002

A few years ago I went to get some more of the VS haircare products, which I loved, and found that they had been discontinued. The scent of those products was my favorite, fresh/ clean/ floral/ musky, and the scent stayed in your hair. Disappointed, and since Body By Victoria (which I believe the haircare smelled most similar to) was discontinued too, it was suggested by the sales associate that I try this perfume.

This one is similar, but a little different. Maybe if you took the scent of the haircare or Body By Victoria and made a darker “night” version? A slightly spicy, floral musk, with a hint of blackberry. I don’t really smell the cappuccino. I see other reviewers detect cactus. Perhaps there’s a “cactus accord” in here somewhere? But I don’t think I would have necessarily been able to point that out if I didn’t see it listed in the notes.

I have this in the body oil (discontinued) and body spray. The body spray is plenty strong enough. I do also like the perfume version. The roller ball perfume smells a little different to me, I think the spiciness is missing? But I do like this scent very much, it has an addictive quality.

I've loved this for years. Even the body mist in this is amazing. At first spray it smells like insect repellent, however if you just wait, it smells fantastic! It turns into a scent I have trouble describing cause it doesn't smell like anything else. It's just really good. Its warm, slight citrus, slight floral, vanilla, just super yummy woman fragrance. I've been wearing it since it came out in 2002. It says 2018 here because they just changed the style of the bottle. I've never been without this, its always a staple in my wardrobe.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother because she loves this scent so much.

Its not a heavy scent even though musk is prominent. Its balanced with some elegant oriental florals. Obviously it is my opinion that its suitable for a mature woman but I also think this would be good for a 20 something.

Like most of the VS perfumes this is not very offensive and suitable for places like work or maybe a first date. I wouldnt say that the scent eludes sexiness but it is a popular scent.

In fact the reason why my mom wanted me to write this is because she works in a production plant that reeks of rubber. When she wears this she gets compliments everytime shes there. People will even always stop her when they see her and tell her they just want to smell her lol.

If you like the other VS scents, orientals, or youre just looking for a nice everyday fragrance this would be great. I would snag it the next time they're on sale.

Very sexy, slightly spicy, and not too sweet (:

I have to say that it is a Magic in a Bottle. It was a blind buy but it worth Letterly. I smell a lot of Dark Orcid and light Fruits with little powder. Awesome!! Thanks, Victoria's Secret.

Not sexy at all. A much nicer musk and cactus perfume is Carolina Herrera 212.

I picked up a minimist and eau de parfum rollerball of this at a ridiculously small price during one of VS‘ sales after swooning over it while testing.

Darkly sexy, juicy berries and rose, with subtle but noticeable musk and woods; and I could swear I detect sandalwood even though it is not listed. Full bottle worthy for sure, it is a love for me.

i used to wear this in highschool(around 2009)
got a new bottle on sale during the holidays. i dont know what changed but it smells so plasticky now. not as sweet as it used to be, which still wasnt very much but still. sharp spicy scrubber for me

I've not yet purchased "Very Sexy" by Victoria's Secret - but I've recently tried this while shopping during the holidays. This is FANTASTIC!

I love fragrances that have musk that dances and sparkles above the skin. This fragrance has this type of quality in the first hour of spray. It melds more into my skin - later, but starts off this way.

This would take a much longer review to delve further into - I need to take the time to put this to the test that I typically do. But for a couple of quick spray and dash sessions - this fragrance is AWESOME! I love how this sets up on my skin -
I think you'd like to try this one too!

I agree with some of the reviews that state that Very Sexy is not as child-like (cotton candy) as a lot of the other Victoria Secret fragrances are. This has a quality about it that feels grown up and mature enough to spark romantic interest -- but this also sparkles and smells like it is extremely FRESH (the musk notes dance above the skin and become very alluring... sexy)! This fragrance has an ageless/timeless quality to it. Someone who wants to appear fresh, trendy, up to date - would choose this over some of the other heavier fragrances that scream "Grand Mother's perfume".

This is HOT --
This will definitely move you from being a wall flower - into someone that is sought after!

If you like "Very Sexy" by Victoria's Secret - I feel that you should also try Avon's new fragrance called "Velvet". Velvet is very similar to Very Sexy - and definitely "in the same fragrance family". They both wear in much the same way.

Velvet has more of a rose oud (a deeper rose quality to it) that has an alluring "VERY SEXY" type essence that draws you in for a hug - and will make you linger longer.

Avon's Velvet Body Lotion and Shower Gel are the BEST that I've ever tried...
No joke. I would normally NOT make such a claim, but I've been into fragrances since the late 1970's... and I've had the pleasure to wear a lot of fragrances and have represented a number of high end fragrances while doing fragrance modeling for department stores. When I say that Avon has created THE BEST Body Lotion and Shower Gel -- I'm serious! You've got to try this for yourself! It is heavenly! Love it!

WHY are there so many iterations of this...Is the formula different?

Brighter44

This is the only berry fragrance I can do only because it’s so beautifully done. It’s not too mature but definitely not a childish scent like most at VS. I’m so glad the blackberry is gentle with a powdery sweet smell and doesn’t smell like berry lipgloss. This is one of my favorites.

I remember I somehow got my hands on a sample of this fragrance when I was 12 (so around 2003). It was my first real grown up perfume, and I felt so mature wearing it. These days when I walk into my local VS store I will occasionally give it a smell and it takes me back to that year. I still love it just haven’t felt the need to buy it. Dark, sweet, peppery florals. I definitely smell the blackberry. But idk wtf cactus smells like?

Eaugirlspirit

I will admit, I mostly bought this for the bottle! I used to like the scent back in the early 2000’s, so I thought, why not bring it back? I’ve been into sexy florals lately. Not so much gourmands. this is very good. Definitely a spicy, musky scent with a slightly aquatic thread running through it. For me it evokes confidence. THe lotion that I got for free with it is so potent you can just buy the lotion on its own and wear it!
