Galveston Bay Brewing, 902 Marina Bay Drive in Clear Lake Shores, will celebrate its grand opening on Nov. 18. The 11,000 square-foot brewery has 30 taps featuring craft beer and two Texas hard ciders, a full-service restaurant and outdoor seating with an area to dock a boat.
Miguel Prida is aiming for a December opening of the lanes at Primetime Cinema, 8902 Seawall Blvd. Prida, who announced the return of an island bowling alley 18 months ago, is ready, he said. And bowling enthusiasts are ready, too, he knows. All he’s waiting for is equipment manufacturer Brunswick to make some final installations, he said.
