The weather isn’t the only thing hot these days. Netflix’s hit reality dating show, Too Hot to Handle, returns for its fifth season on July 14.
If the series has remained in your Netflix queue since it premiered three years ago in 2020, here’s what you need to know before diving headfirst into season five: Too Hot to Handle follows 10 hot singles with commitment issues aboard a lavish yacht for a four-week tour of the Caribbean. Or that’s what they think.
The cast believes that they are on a show called Love Overboard, but in reality they’ll be putting their ability to form real romantic connections to the test—all without engaging in any physical intimacy. If they do, money is deducted from the group’s $200,000 prize pot.
Previous seasons’ casts haven’t exactly succeeded; however, every season is different—save for Lana, the savage traffic cone-shaped robot host, who will return for a fifth round of hot-people chaperoning. Maybe this will be the group that wins all the money. But maybe not.
