Michael Houk funeral expenses

Crystal and Michael Houk were married in April of 2023 and both felt they had finally found their happily ever after. They were building their dream home together after Crystal’s home was destroyed by fire. Michael who was a long distance truck driver, left for Indiana on January 7th, 2024. Crystal received a phone call in the middle of the night from Clark Memorial Hospital stating that Michael was being transported there with chest pains. At this time, he was alert and talking. Crystal quickly got dressed and headed from Kentucky to Indiana to be with her husband. On the way there, Crystal called for an update and was given the devastating news that Michael had passed away at only 49 years old. Unfortunately Michael did not have life insurance. Crystal and Michael have spent their life savings, building what they thought would be their forever home together. Now, Crystal is left as a single mother with the task of burying her soulmate. Many of you have asked how you can help during this time. The thing that Crystal and her children need most right now is help paying for Michael’s funeral.
