Kaley Cuoco has officially expanded her circle of loved ones.
The Big Bang Theory alum always finds new ways to surprise her fans about her expanding family, and she did so once again on November 11. Posting a series of photos to her Instagram story, Kaley revealed she and her boyfriend Tom Pelphrey recently adopted a chihuahua named Red.
The news of the Based on a True Story star adopting a new pet comes after months of her makeup artist, Liz Rizo, trying to find a home for Red. Liz even re-posted one of Kaley's Instagram stories of the pet in mid-September, begging her followers to help find him a forever home after he was found astray in Los Angeles.
"Thank you @jenconf [and] @lizrizomakeup for trying to find this senior chi a home the last few months, " she captioned one of the images. "I guess he found one LOL."
And it looks like there's no better place for him. Not only will he have a ton of company thanks to the couple's other rescue dogs (Ruby, Opal, King and Blue). But Red will also have a pal in Kaley and Tom's daughter, Matilda.
When speaking to People about the dogs interact with her daughter, Kaley couldn't help but take pride in how Matilda is reacting to all the animals at home.
"Oh my God, she got thrown to the wolves literally," she said. "After she was born, I'm like, 'If this child doesn't like dogs, I might have to send her back. There's no choice. This is your life. This is it ... They have jumped on her. They have crawled across her. We have let them lick her, kiss her. Our pediatrician was like, 'It's okay.' So they love her so much."
