I needed to say some things, but above all, I have the need to keep in mind the words, to believe that I can still name things. And that is the main illusion of this book: the language still serves and everything is improvable. As far as the book is concerned, -for all those who question their identification- I must admit that it is a dictionary, but that it is not a dictionary; that contains short narrations but that is not a storybook; which is composed of small trials of aphorisms and which is based on notes and quotes from my neighbors around the world. Let's say, then, that it is a long novel. The game is as follows: you have to break the shell one by one to get its content, to see if they contain a half truth or lie and a half, a half lie or truth and a half. There will be many meanings that are left half-baked, some others will be oversignified, and others will be left hanging, as we usually do in real life. Decidedly, this book is not a book of reflections but of pre-reflections. The pre-reflections are an excuse for the reader to make the corresponding reflection.

Oso liburu polita eta poetikoa nahiz eta zati arraro samar batzuk dituela iruditzen zaidan. Halako hiztegi bat idaztea ederra iruditzen zitzaidan, baina irakurri ostean ez nago hain ziur.
