What? Metamorphophsia - Distortions of the visual perceptions with changes in size (micro and macropsia), color, movement, among others.
Where?
 • CNS: parietal lobe
 • Retina
 • Systemic (toxic/metabolic)
Why? (Many causes!)
 • Migraine* (most common cause)
 • Infection (e.g. encephalitis)
 • Brain lesions (e.g. stroke, tumor)
 • Epilepsy
 • Psychiatric disorders
 • Toxic/metabolic conditions
