Hersilia: Rome's First Queen

In 752 BC, Romulus founded Rome from the ashes of his own personal tragedy. In his efforts to build a legendary life, he made many mistakes. Some might say the rape of the Sabine women was conducted in error, but if that were true, we'd never have the story of Hersilia. Born from the product of spite, and raised merely for the purpose of her usefulness, Hersilia learned from a very young age how to keep herself alive by any means necessary. She was wise in the art if manipulation, and maybe too stubborn for her own good, but as the first queen of Rome, there was no better character to build an empire from. Stuck in the shadows of men for all of history, Hersilia is finally stepping out into the light, to tell her story. Will she be the woman you expected?
