Riley Keough brought a very special plus-one with her to the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Keough, who earned her first-ever Emmy nomination this year, stepped onto the red carpet tonight at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater alongside her grandmother Priscilla Presley. The duo even coordinated in all-black looks.
Keough looked gorgeous in a black dress featuring a floor-length sheer mesh overlay, a deep V neckline, a crystal-embellished waistline, and a miniskirt in an artful gray pattern. She finished off the look with black open-toe heels, diamond drop earrings, and a large black bow attached to the top of her high ponytail.
As for Presley, the matriarch—and subject of Sofia Coppola’s 2023 biopic Priscilla— stunned in a silky collared black button-down tucked into a long pleated black skirt. She completed the look with a dainty chain necklace with a bedazzled circular pendant.
Keough is nominated tonight in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, which recognizes her titular performance in Amazon Prime Video’s adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 2019 novel Daisy Jones & The Six. (Keough’s costar Camila Morrone is also up for an award tonight in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category.) Her fellow nominees are Lizzy Caplan (Fleishman Is in Trouble), Jessica Chastain (George & Tammy), Dominique Fishback (Swarm), Kathryn Hahn (Tiny Beautiful Things), and Ali Wong (Beef).
Tonight’s show follows a four-month postponement due to the simultaneous actors’ and writers’ strikes in Hollywood, which shut down production on nearly all TV and film projects. Consequently, the historic work stoppage delayed the annual television award ceremony, originally slated to take place last September.
