Selena Gomez Covers InStyle’s September Issue [InStyle]
Selena Gomez has nabbed the coveted September issue cover of InStyle magazine. The “Fetish” singer wears Coach for most of the spread, in which she also debuted her new “Selena Grace” handbag created in collaboration with Coach creative director Stuart Vevers. For Laura Brown’s first September issue as the editor-in-chief of InStyle (she took the reins from Ariel Foxman last September), she also cast model Dilone, model Carolyn Murphy, Stephen Colbert and Marc Jacobs alongside Salt ‘n’ Pepa and L.L. Cool J on alternative covers. Other September fashion issue cover stars include Gomez’s boyfriend, The Weeknd, for Harper’s Bazaar, Paris Jackson for i-D, Angelina Jolie for Vanity Fair and Alicia Vikander for Elle.

Cameron Dalls Invests in Beauty Startup [WWD]
Cameron Dallas, the YouTube phenom turned professional pretty person, is now an investor, too. The 22-year-old Chico, Calif.-native has invested in Glow Concept, the parent company of four beauty brands including Winky Lux. The company has raised $2 million since they began raising capital in June. Winky Lux specializes in affordable beauty products and caters to Gen Z customers, who also happen to make up most of Dallas’ fan base.
Avon CEO Steps Down After Sales Plummet [Reuters]
Avon CEO Sheri McCoy is stepping down from her post in March 2018 amid pressure from investors, who were displeased with the company after it reported $46 million in losses for the second quarter. McCoy was named CEO in 2012; the company has hired search firm Heidrick & Struggles to find her replacement. Avon has been struggling over the past five years due to competition from niche brands and direct-to-consumer competitors.
CB2 Collaborates With Fred Segal [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
CB2, the contemporary and trendy home goods label owned by Crate & Barrel, has collaborated with Fred Segal on a California-inspired collection of home accessories and furniture that combines “the modern aesthetic of CB2 with the laid-back, California luxury of Fred Segal.” A palm tree-shaped floor lamp, brass office accessories and a sleek daybed round out the 40-piece Venice Studio collection, which is now available on CB2’s website and in stores.

Aldo Is Buying Vince Camuto’s Shoe and Accessories Business [New York Times]
Canadian shoe brand Aldo will acquire the shoe and accessories operations of The Camuto Group’s Vince Camuto line. The apparel end of the business will continue to be operated by the Camuto family. The acquisition follows the greater trend of recent retail mergers and acquisitions, coming just weeks after the news of Michael Kors‘ acquisition of Jimmy Choo and Coach’s acquisition of Kate Spade.
