Charlie’s Angels has set its first Smallville reunion.
As first reported by TV Line, Erica Durance, best known as Smallville’s Lois Lane, will guest star on an episode of the upcoming ABC drama, reuniting her with executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Durance will play Samantha, a CIA operative and former flame of Bosley’s (Ramon Rodriguez).
The episode is the third one in production but it remains unclear when the installment will air.

Producers noted earlier this week that the Angels’ back stories – including that of the young and hip “fourth Angel” Bosley – will be chief among the differences in the rebooted drama starring Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh.

“This is a show about redemption and second chances,” Gough said Sunday at the Television Critics’ Association’s summer press tour in Beverly Hills. “The ladies have pasts and Charlie’s giving them a second chance. One of the Angels will be at the tip of the spear [in each episode].”
Producers also said that Charlie and Bosley’s relationship will be among the stories explored in the ABC series. Rodriguez noted that much of the mystery will come from Bosley. “He has a lot of secrets on Charlie and we’ve been trying to figure out who he is and when that’s revealed,” Rodriguez. “Each episode there’s a tip … but he’s still an enigma.”
Charlie’s Angels premieres Thursday, Spt. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
