Let us discuss the bypassing feature in SAP Data Services It is used to skip the dataflows or workflows in a job. Mainly used in testing or error recovery to reduce the run time.

Step 1: Create a substitution parameter $$ByPassYES and assign value as ‘YES’.
Step 2: Right click the dataflows or workflows and select Bypass
Default value as shown in picture.
Step 3: Choose the parameter $$ByPassYES from the drop down list.
Step 4: A red stop icon is displayed for the objects which are by passed.
