The Stark Museum of Art houses one of the nation’s most significant collections of American Western art, which focuses on the stunning land, dramatic people and diverse wildlife of the American West.  This award-winning Museum also holds a significant collection of American Indian art, as well as collections of glass, rare books and manuscripts.  Open Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm.

The W.H. Stark House will allow you to step back in time to experience the beauty and charm of this 1894 Queen Anne-style home that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark.  Open Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm. 

Shangri La Gardens will give you an opportunity to immerse yourself in the wondrous world of gardens, art, nature, and abundant wildlife.  Explore lush seasonally changing landscapes, the Children’s Garden, Hanging Garden, Cypress Gate, and much more.  Stroll along garden paths surrounded by beautiful plant displays, bird-watch for hours the Heronry Blind and explore nature on a guided Outpost Tour excursion along Adams Bayou.
