That is a very healthy-looking plant, Carolyn, and the flowers are simply gorgeous. Such a nice colour combination and it blooms several times per year too. Lucky you!

So beautiful. I have Galeandra batemanniana from EOoM (got it early last Spring) and it currently has 3 flower buds about the size of grains of rice. I hope to see it bloom soon!!

But if I ever put it up for trade, you know I'd go to you first, so it would probably never even hit the exchange page.

I *have* thought about getting more of galeandra, because it is such an easy grower for me. Thanks for the tip, I'll have to take a look. I'm just *so* out of space though.

Clint- I saw that galeandra in EOoM, but only after I'd placed my order, so it was too late; otherwise I would have ordered it for sure!

I've found batemanniana as easy as the cycnoches and cycnodes (Wine Delight) I have. They all get the same treatment and all three are currently in spike.

Kev, you need one of these plants. Hopefully EOoM will have them during the next free shipping sale and one of us can pick it up for you if you don't plan on placing the minimum order...

If I remember correctly, someone on the OS Forum posted some pics of a couple other species they were growing. You might want to check it out if you need any tempting. There's a search function at the top.
