For the 2020 model year, the Chevy Colorado has some updates to both the exterior and the interior. While most of the exterior features carryover for the 2020 model year, the Chevy Colorado now offers a remote locking tailgate on the Work Truck trim. This option is standard on the LT, ZL7, and the ZR2 models. On the interior, the Chevrolet Infotainment Premium System wit Navigation has now been replaced with the Chevrolet Infotainment Plus System with Navigation.

The 2020 Chevrolet Colorado Has Many Features Across Five Trims

The 2020 Chevy Colorado is offered in five trims: Base, WT, LT, ZL7, and ZR2. The Base trim comes standard with CornerStep rear bumper, locking tailgate, 16-inch metallic steel wheels, 16-inch all-season tires, 3.5-inch driver information screen, 4-way power driver's seat, and a 6-speaker audio system. The WT trim comes with a number of features found on the Base trim plus carpeted floor covering, dual rear seats with under-seat storage, front carpeted floor mats, and rear carpeted floor mats.

The LT trim comes with a number of features found on the WT trim plus a remote locking tailgate, 17-inch blade metallic cast-aluminum wheels, 17-inch all-wheel tires, body-color door handles, body-color power outside mirrors, an overhead console, remote keyless entry, SiriusXM radio, and steering-wheel-mounted controls. The top-of-the-line ZL7 trim comes with a number of features found on the LT trim plus 16-inch all-season spare tire, 16-inch spare wheel, fog lamps, a manual sliding rear window, projector-beam headlights, 4-way front passengers seat, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, automatic climate control, heated driver & front passenger seats, heated steering wheel and rear park assist. The off-road ZR2 trim comes with many of the features found on the ZL7 trim plus an off-road appearance package, off-road suspension, multimeric DSSV damping system and increases ground clearance.

What's Under the Hood of the 2020 Chevy Colorado?

The 2020 Chevy Colorado comes standard with a 2.5 liter, 4-cylinder horsepower engine that provides up to 200 horsepower, 191 foot-pounds of torque, 3,500 pounds of towing capacity and has a fuel rating of 20 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. There is also an optional 3.6-liter, V-6 engine that offers a best-in-class 308 horsepower, 275 foot-pounds of torque, and up to 7,000 pounds of towing capacity. The V6 engine has a fuel rating of 18 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway. Finally, there is an optional Duramax 2.8 liter Turbo-Diesel engine that provides up to 181 horsepower, 369 foot-pounds of torque and has a towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds.
