Daily Cards Solutions
At the end of each day in Strange Horticulture, you will get a Daily Card with a riddle or a puzzle you will need to solve in order to get a new plant for your shop. This Strange Horticulture guide details everything you need to know to solve each one of the Daily Cards.
What are Daily Cards
Each Daily Card is a puzzle you must solve to get the coordinates of a new plant specimen on the map. Once you have solved the puzzle, go to the area the card refers to and retrieve the plant. Afterward, the Daily Card will dissolve (unlike letters and notes, which will stay on your desk unless you put them in the archive).

Day 1
This Daily Card tells you to go to the third river (from left to right) in row H, which is the River Duddon. Open the travel menu and select the H11 square, as seen below.
Day 2
The second Daily Card refers to a place that is:
- North of Hawkshead
- East of Lowick
- West of Rusland
- South of Crinkle Crags
To get there, open up the travel map and go to E17.
Day 3
This Daily Card is missing the lower left part and only has an X written on it. To solve it, open the travel map and align the card with the part of the map where it fits.
The tares in the card are a perfect match to the lower left area of the map. Afterward, travel to the spot on the map where the X in the card is (N6).
Day 4
This card tells the story of a lady that lived in a castle northwest of the abbey and who buried her husband three miles to the East. To solve this puzzle:
- Open the map and look for Calder Abbey, a castle on the top-left corner of the map.
- Go to the castle northwest of it (B1) and count three squares east; you should be now in B4.
- Go there.
Day 5
This Daily Card says: "the Old Man of Coniston looks out across the lake with blind eyes. His mind wanders with the current, floating gently southwards to the fork."
To find the place this card refers to, open the map and place yourself in The Old Man (G15). From there, "look across the lake" and land on (G18). Finally, go south until you reach the tile where the two rivers meet (O17). This last one is the tile you want to visit using the travel map.
Day 6
This Daily Card has information about a place "Five miles South of the tallest but one, it grows in peace in the midday sun."
To solve this card, you have to look on the map for the tallest mountain (Seafell Pike), but the card talks about "the tallest but one," so you have to look for the second tallest mountain, which is Bowfell.
Now from Bowfell's location (D14), go five tiles south. You will be now in (I14). Go there.
Day 7
This one has information about a place at the intersection of two paths. Path A is "Lowick to Illgill Head," and path B is "Foxfield to Crinkle Crags."
If you look at the map, you'll see that the place you're looking for is I13.
Day 8
This Daily Card tells the story of a noble elder in Tebay who liked to watch starry skies. At first glance, it doesn't look like this card gives you a lot of information; however, upon a closer examination, you will see that there's a reason why each word is in a different line.
- In Tebay
- Noble
- Elder
- Stood
- Silently
- Watching
- Starry
- Skies
When you see it like this, you will notice each capitalized letter refers to cardinal directions, so starting in Tebay (C31), go north, then east, then south, then south again, then west, then south, and south again. You should be now in F31. Travel There.
Day 9
This Daily Card seems blank; however, if you use the strange device on it, you'll see that it has instructions written in invisible ink.
According to the text, you should go "two miles north of Foxfield." Open up the travel map and go to K11.
Day 10
This card has three holes; two have numbers, and the one in the middle has an X. To solve this card, open up your map, and you will see the numbers on the card correspond to the heights of two of the mountains on the map.
Align the holes on the card so that the numbers match the mountains' locations on the map, and then go to the square where X is (E16).
Day 11
This card gives you the coordinates to find a new specimen. To get the "row" letter, you need to figure out "The first letter of the Latin name of the plant they call Goldenlight," and to get the "column" number, you need to find "The number of petals on a lucky Caballia flower."
Now, Goldenlight is also known as Weeping Belle, and its Latin name is "Lamentum Nixus," so the place you're looking for is in the L row.
According to its description in your book, the Caballia flower has six petals, but a lucky one has seven.
Now that you know where to go, open the travel map and go to L7.
Day 12
This day's Daily Card only has three words: "Endmoor, Raven, and Spider. To understand this puzzle, you will need to use Bryer's Disk.
Open the map and place the disc's center on top of Endmoor on L29.
You will notice that the raven symbol is pointing toward the square H29.
Recenter the disc on that square, look where the spider symbol is pointing towards (H25), and go there.
Day 13
This day's Daily Card has a drawing of a tree and the words "Eight miles to the east" written on it. This tree is very unusual-looking, but it is not the first time you've seen it in this game.
That same tree appears in the coin you found in the secret compartment on your desk. According to the coin, this tree is in Gosforth, so go there (E3) and then do what the Daily Card says and go eight miles east. You should land on E11. Travel there.
Day 14
On this day, you will receive a card with information on the top and bottom. However, you only need to pay attention to the upside-down part, which says "...West of White Scar, by the river."
Open the map and look for White Scar (it'll be on square P32). Now, look to the west to the place near the river and go there. The coordinates are P29.
Day 15
You will receive that last one of the Daily Cards on this day. This one has information about something that grows near a castle that's somewhat near to a forest and a mountain pass.
Looking at the map, you'll notice that this card is about the Sizergh Castle on K26. From there, look east to pass the river and the mountains until you reach the edge of the woods on K31. Go there.
