“Scream” franchise star Hayden Panettiere has spoken out about Melissa Barrera’s firing from the horror film series, calling her controversial exit “very unfair and upsetting.”
Barrera, who played Sam Carpenter in 2022’s “Scream” and 2023’s “Scream VI,” was fired from the upcoming “Scream 7” after her social media posts about Palestine were deemed antisemitic by Spyglass, the production banner behind the hit horror franchise.
Spyglass said in a statement to Variety at the time: “We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech.”
“After she [spoke out], then a whole bunch of other actors and people in the industry started to do the same thing, right?” Panettiere said in a recent interview with The Messenger. “It was almost like she just did it earlier than everyone else.

The Scream franchise began in 1996, with the slasher film series accruing a diehard fan base that lobbied for more movies after Scream 4's underwhelming box office performance led to the cancellation of its sequels.
Fans got their wish with 2022's successful outing that featured a mix of old and new cast members to tell a killer new tale.
Twenty-twenty-three's New York-set Scream 6 managed to do the impossible by surviving -- and thriving! -- without series star Neve Campbell.

Armed with a cast headlined by Melissa Barerra and Jenna Ortega, Scream 6 became the biggest entry yet, leading to a swift announcement for a seventh film in the franchise.

Although her character, franchise heroine Sidney Prescott, was originally included in the script for Scream VI (watch it Here), Neve Campbell ended up passing on the offer to reprise the role for that film due to a pay dispute. Soon after the film was released, her Scream co-star Skeet Ulrich (who makes brief appearances in the 2022 Scream and Scream VI) said Campbell loved what they did with the latest sequel… but while doing a Q&a at the 2023 Monster-Mania Con, Campbell revealed that she only recently watched the film. It took her longer than we thought to see it, but her reaction was a positive one in the end.
Campbell told the Monster-Mania crowd (with thanks to Coming Soon for the transcription), “I hadn’t watched it until two weeks ago. It took me a minute, I don’t know why. I actually thought they did a really good job.

Scream VI (read our review Here) received a DVD, Blu-ray, 4K Uhd, and 4K steelbook release earlier this week, and now Ghostface has teamed up with the Ring company, an Amazon-owned manufacturer of home security and smart home devices, for a video that promotes that physical media release – and, of course, Ring itself. You can check it out at the bottom of this article.
Directed by Scream 2022 directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay by Scream 2022 writers James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, Scream VI shows us what happens when the four survivors of the Ghostface killings leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.

We never expected to see characters like Kirby Reed and Billy Loomis make their return to the Scream franchise, but both Scream 2022 and Scream VI have proven that nothing is ever off the table when it comes to this particular slasher saga. Billy appeared in both films in visions experienced by his daughter, while Scream VI literally brought Kirby back to life.
So who’s next? Well, Drew Barrymore recently joked that Casey Becker could theoretically still be alive out there somewhere, and now Parker Posey is expressing similar sentiments about her character from Scream 3. Posey memorably played Jennifer Jolie in Craven’s third movie, the actress playing Gale Weathers in the Stab movies.
As Jenn Adams wrote here on Bloody Disgusting back in March, “The flaky actress stars as Gale Weathers in the parody films and forms a hilarious partnership with her real-life counterpart when her co-stars begin to die.

The “Scream” franchise is at an all-time high right now, with March’s “Scream VI” grossing $106 million and counting at the domestic box office to become the series’ top-grossing film. No wonder former cast members like Drew Barrymore and Parker Posey are eager to return.
Posey, who has been making the press rounds in support of her role in Ari Aster’s “Beau Is Afraid,” told ComicBook.com that she’s interested in reprising the role of Jennifer Jolie from 2000’s “Scream 3.” Jennifer was the actor playing Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) in the “Stab” franchise. She was killed by Ghostface, but that didn’t stop Posey from recently pitching her return to the “Scream” team.
“Well, I did an interview for Wnyc Radio, like three weeks ago, for the play I was doing. And they said, ‘Well, there’s some people here that want to say hi.’ And it was the ‘Scream’ team,...

Two weeks ago, Scream VI (read our review Here) surpassed the worldwide box office total of last year’s Scream movie, leaving its $139 million haul in the dust. As of right now, Scream VI has pulled in $162,210,554 worldwide… and it has reached another milestone. Scream VI crossed the $100 million mark domestically this past weekend, and has now become the highest-grossing entry in the entire franchise at the domestic box office. Until now, the original Scream – released back in 1996 – had been sitting in the top spot with $103 million. Now Scream VI is at the top with $104,410,554 and counting. Complex lists the domestic box office for previous entries: “Scream 2 earned $101 million in 1997, Scream 3 made $89 million in 2000, Scream 4 pulled in just $38 million in 2011, and Scream (2022) ended its domestic run at $81.6 million.”

Last year, the Scream franchise returned the big screen after an eleven year absence – and last year’s Scream was such a hit, earning almost $139 million at the global box office on a budget of $24 million, that Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media quickly greenlit another sequel. Scream VI (read our review Here) had a slightly higher budget, in the range of $35 million, but it’s also turning out to be an even bigger box office success than its predecessor. Scream VI‘s global box office total currently stands at $139.2 million. In just over two weeks of release, it has surpassed Scream 2022’s box office. So don’t be surprised to hear a Scream 7 announcement any day now.

As fans of Scream know very well by now, Scream VI (read our review Here) is the first entry in the slasher franchise not to feature Neve Campbell as heroine Sidney Prescott. The Sidney character was originally part of the story written by Scream 2022 writers James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, but she had to be written out when Campbell passed on the project due to a pay dispute. If you’re wondering if Campbell is feeling any negativity about the Scream movie they made without her, her Scream co-star Skeet Ulrich – who returns for hallucinatory appearances in Scream 2022 and Scream VI – is here to assure you that she doesn’t. In fact, Ulrich said Campbell “loved” the new movie.

"What's your favorite scary movie?" It's been 26 years since the phone rang, and this question introduced Wes Craven's iconic film "Scream," a film that shifted the landscape of slasher cinema from the 80s into the 90s with an understanding of horror movie culture that both pokes fun and pays homage to the foundations of the genre. "Scream VI" takes the terror to the Big Apple. A new Ghostface looks to amend unfinished business between the latest generation of Woodsboro survivors. Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett deliver an old-fashioned slasher flick with a welcome change of location that adds a fresh perspective and a hyper-aggressive masked killer who feels unstoppable. "Scream VI" doesn't stray far from its formulaic storytelling, which functions as a regurgitation of past ideas. Still, the few changes it does establish make it an easy and pleasing horror experience.

City settings can give a bustling yet cold energy to a horror film. Sure, there are millions of people around, but how much can you rely on the kindness of strangers? Unlike previous entries in the meta-slasher film series, "Scream VI" explores this question through dark New York City alleyways and cramped subway cars. In a setting filled with such a mass of bodies, Ghostface has the advantage of hiding in plain sight -- a fact that the film relishes around each shady corner. When the trio of killers strikes in the final act showdown, Radio Silence showcases their flair for knowing how to frame, set up, and linger on each kill sequence. Eye-gouging, thrown television sets, and glass shard stabbings make this entry the most blood-soaked romp yet in the franchise.

Scream VI filmmakers Radio Silence, the collective that consists of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and Chad Villella, have set a new franchise record with a $44.5 million opening weekend.
Just 14 months after their legacy sequel Scream (2022) reinvigorated Kevin Williamson and Wes Craven’s slasher franchise by introducing it to a whole new generation of horror fans, co-directors Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett, alongside producer Villella, are now opening up about the choices they did and didn’t make. For starters, the persistent rumor that Stu Macher (Mathew Lillard) would reprise his co-Ghostface role from the original 1996 film and serve as Scream VI’s Ghostface mastermind may or may not have been started by their co-screenwriter Guy Busick.
“We love that … It’s cool to be a part of a franchise where who lives and who dies is so meaningful to people. And who knows, with Guy at the keyboard, anything is possible with Stu Macher,...

The “sequel to the requel” follows the surviving “Core Four” from 2022’s Scream—Sam (Melissa Barrera), Tara (Jenna Ortega), Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown), and Chad (Mason Gooding)–as they leave behind the suburban backdrop of Woodsboro and venture to New York City to start anew.
Yet again helmed by Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, Scream VI also welcomes back franchise staple Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), Scream 4 fan-favorite Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere), the iconic voice of Ghostface (Roger L. Jackson), and a host of new potential Ghostface victims, including veteran actor Dermot Mulroney (Copycat), Liana Liberato (The Beach House), Jack Champion (Avatar: The Way of Water...

Warning: This story contains major spoilers for “Scream VI,” in theaters now.
Anytime a “Scream” movie drops, it’s safe to assume fans want to see it multiple times, especially to catch all the Easter eggs. The sixth movie, written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick and directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, picks up plenty of threads from the last film.
This time, Tara (Jenna Ortega) enrolls in college in New York City, attempting to leave the past in the past. Making it hard is her overprotective sister, Sam (Melissa Barrera), who struggles to move forward since the internet is convinced she actually orchestrated the last killings. Along with Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), “Scream VI” also marks the return of Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin and “Scream 4” survivor Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere), who now works as an FBI agent and comes to New York after hearing about Ghostface’s return.

*Spoiler Warning* The following story contains major details about the ending of Scream VI
The actor playing Ghostface in Scream VI had no idea that they’d be unmasked as the film’s killer until weeks into filming.
The horror sequel, which is in cinemas now, sees Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega reprise their roles of sisters Sam and Tara Carpenter, who are stalked by a new Ghostface killer in New York City.
Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding also star in the film. Not returning is original franchise star Neve Campbell, however the whereabouts of her character Sidney are discussed on-screen.
Speaking exclusively to The Independent, actor Hayden Panettiere – who reprises her Scream 4 role of Kirby Reed in the film – revealed that she was initially kept in the dark about how the movie would end until she “demanded” to receive the entire script.
This was news to actor Dermot Mulroney,...

Right from its inception, the "Scream" franchise was never intended to be merely a great horror movie. Original writer Kevin Williamson always wanted the film to have loftier goals; as he said in a 2021 interview, "'Scream' was a new way of doing a horror film, a deconstruction." Original director Wes Craven almost didn't direct the first "Scream," having already made another meta-deconstruction of the horror genre, 1994's "Wes Craven's New Nightmare," but was convinced to sign on eventually.
In Williamson and Craven's hands, the first four "Scream" films doubled as of-the-moment commentaries on the state of the slasher film and Hollywood trends in general. The first "Scream" established the general "rules" of a slasher, "Scream 2" opined on the increased budgets and mayhem of a sequel, "Scream 3" mused on what makes a good trilogy, and "Scream 4" tackled the then-rampant trend of the "reboot." 2022's "Scream," directed...

2022's "Scream 5" reinvigorated the horror franchise, which seemed to have ended with "Scream 4" in 2011. It was no small task, especially considering its legendary original director, Wes Craven, died in 2015. Its new directors, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett - the duo behind production company Radio Silence who made "Ready or Not" in 2019 - have openly expressed their love and loyalty to the Scream franchise, so while the new Scream films do explore new aspects of the horror genre to fit the 21st century, you can be sure they still have plenty of connections to the original films that fans will recognize almost immediately.

“Scream VI” is here, a little more than a year after the last installment. And the body count is rising.
In “Scream 6,” Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera) and her younger half-sister Tara (Jenna Ortega), both survivors of 2022’s “Scream,” have moved to New York City. Tara is attending Blackmore University and not visiting any actual Manhattan landmarks because they shot the movie in Montreal. A couple of other survivors from the last movie, twins Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding), are also along for the ride and attending Blackmore University. But wouldn’t you know it? A mask-wielding killer has arrived, once again, and targeted Sam and Tara once again. Of course, this wouldn’t be a “Scream” installment without some legacy characters, and Gale Weathers (Courtney Cox), still reeling from Dewey’s death in the 2022 film, makes her return alongside Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere) from “Scream 4.

The slasher sequel Scream 6 is now in theatres (you can read our review Here), and if you’re in the Los Angeles area you also have the chance to visit the Scream VI Experience, an immersive exhibit that is built to look like the bodega where a standout scene in the film takes place. The Experience bodega is packed with Easter egg nods to previous Scream movies – and there is also museum of props and costumes from all of the Scream movies. JoBlo / Arrow in the Head reader Ryan C. was able to check out the exhibit, and was kind enough to send in several pictures he took while looking around in there. You can take a look at those pictures at the bottom of this article.

Ghostface is back, and this time, they’re taking their rampage to New York City. Scream VI is now playing in theaters, and it looks to be another strong installment of the long-running franchise. The sequel took in $5.7 million in Thursday night previews and is expected to open to $35-40 million, which would be a franchise high.
Following the latest Ghostface killings, Scream VI finds the four survivors leaving Woodsboro behind and starting a fresh chapter. Melissa Barrera returns as Sam Carpenter alongside Jenna Ortega as Tara Carpenter, Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin, Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin, and Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers. Hayden Panettiere also returns as Kirby Reed, returning after her last appearance in Scream 4. After the success of 2022's "Scream" reboot/sequel (which was titled "Scream" even though it was the fifth installment), a sixth film was on the table almost immediately. Now, 2023's "Scream 6" made many changes to the iconic franchise.
First off, the film focused almost entirely on the newer characters introduced in 2022's "Scream." Sidney Prescott was only mentioned by name and never actually appeared, and Gale Weathers didn't play as big of a role as she usually would. "Scream VI" also brought back "Scream 4"'s Kirby Reed as an FBI agent helping Samatha and Tara deal with the newest string of Ghostface killings. On top of those cast shakeups, the film also moved its location to New York City, much like "Scream 2" took Sidney out of Woodsboro and saw her facing down a new set of Ghostface killers in Los Angeles.

Scream 6 is now in theatres (you can read our review at This Link), and ever since it was first announced that the movie was going to take place in New York City, fans have been jokingly referring to it as “Ghostface Takes Manhattan”, a nod to the 1989 slasher sequel Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Chad Villella confirmed that he and directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett “studied” Jason Takes Manhattan before going into production on Scream 6. And during an interview with our friends at Bloody Disgusting, Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett revealed that there is an Easter egg reference to Jason Takes Manhattan in the finished film.
Villella told Entertainment Weekly, “Oh, we definitely studied it, and we wanted to make sure that we didn’t have a boat in this! We wanted to be in the city, in...

How sharp can a slasher with a ‘six’ tattooed on its back be? As early as in its opening sequence, the entry proves that, much like the returning Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere), the Scream series is incapable of flatlining for long; the cloak- and knife-wielding show once again makes it worth our while.
Last year's requel, fashionably titled Scream, introduced us to the meta bloodbath with a familiar landline call sequence. This year's edition exercises a similar homage. A recipe for tedium? It could seem so. Meanwhile, we are treated to a scene that begins at a fancy restaurant in downtown New York. It is here that an associate professor in film studies answers the phone from a killer. Without going into details, the following minutes inspired a collective sigh of surprise in the screening room.

Melissa Barrera (“Sam Carpenter”), left, and Jenna Ortega (“Tara Carpenter”) star in Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group’s “Scream VI.”
In my reviews last week I mentioned a new installment coming soon from a big horror film franchise. Well, the time is now. It might just seem that we were in this scary “cinematic universe’ and you wouldn’t be too off the mark, since the last one filled the multiplexes a mere fourteen months ago. The timing’s also a bit quirky since this March has no Friday the 13th and we’re several months away from Halloween (also weird since that major holiday figures into both the setting and overall plot here). Oh, and unlike that last year’s entry, which reused the original’s tile, we’re back to the “digits” with the “slicin’ and dicin'” of Scream VI.

Major spoilers for "Scream VI" follow.
At a certain point, all long-running film franchises begin to resemble soap operas. Characters change, they die, some old faces fade away while new faces step up into the spotlight, and so on. A large majority of soap operas typically feature characters that are relatives of each other, as they all struggle to define themselves as individuals while wrestling with their larger family legacy.
Now that the "Scream" franchise of slasher films has officially entered into its second generation of leading characters with "Scream VI," it's not necessarily true that the series is more soap opera-y now than it was before. After all, this is a franchise whose inciting incident, as described in the first "Scream," was infidelity, a plot point that feels more soap opera than slasher movie when taken on its own.
That's no accident, however, as the bulk of original "Scream...

The Scream saga continues with Scream VI when the four survivors of last year’s film leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. Two of those survivors being the Meeks-Martin twins, Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad (Mason Gooding).
While 2022’s Scream introduced the siblings as the niece and nephew of the franchise’s resident cinephile Randy Meeks (Jamie Kennedy), Scream VI further establishes their identities and relationships. In other words, we’ll get to know Mindy and Chad a bit more this time around.
Ahead of Scream VI‘s theatrical release on March 10, 2023, Bloody Disgusting spoke with Savoy Brown and Gooding about seeing new sides to their characters and whether the success of the previous entry had any effect on their experience this time. It just keeps on killing. After 27 years, six films, one television series, and more than $740 million in box office returns, the “Scream” franchise shows no sign of slowing down. After being relaunched with sequel “Scream” in 2022, the tongue-in-cheek slasher series bows it next entry, the already-well-reviewed “Scream VI,” in theaters this week.
But, like any franchise film, “Scream VI” is at the mercy of big (even bloody) expectations. And directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, along with producer Chad Villella (Aka Radio Silence) aren’t shying away from them. When Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett signed on to direct “Scream” in 2020, they were taking on a truly chilling gig: becoming the only filmmakers besides horror maestro Wes Craven to direct a “Scream” picture.
“I think we really felt the responsibility of what that meant to be stepping into Wes’ shoes, to be following up that legacy, and we didn’t want to fuck it up,...

At the start of Scream 6’s third act, our heroes board a subway train filled with costumed partygoers. While there are a few generic pirates and princesses, most are dressed as iconic horror characters: Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Michael Myers are there, as are Chucky, Pennywise, and the Grady sisters from The Shining. Heck, we even get a quick glance at Sam Neill’s reluctant Sutter Cane reader from In the Mouth of Madness. But, of course, nestled throughout the car are a couple of Ghostfaces riding the 1 Train downtown as well.
In nearly any other movie, these easter eggs would be annoying distractions. Throughout five movies (soon to be six), plenty of characters have met their end at the hands of Ghostface. Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere) was believed to be one of those characters, having been stabbed multiple times and left to bleed out, but an easter egg in Scream confirmed that she had survived. Hayden Panettiere will return as Kirby for Scream VI for another chance to face off against Ghostface, but the actress herself brought the idea to the directors.
Hayden Panettiere took a break from acting following the ABC series Nashville, and when the time came to return, Scream popped back into the picture. “I didn’t know what I wanted to do next,” Panettiere told Good Morning America. “I did have to take those four years off, and thank god I did. I’ve been gushing over my love for Scream VI since I finally caught it. Look, another slasher icon terrorizing New York didn’t seem like a movie I’d love, but I’m a fan. The new film features the return of Courtney Cox, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding. It also marks the return of Kirby Reed with the lovely Hayden Panettiere from Scream 4. It’s impressive how screenwriters James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, along with the directing team of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, have brought the franchise back in a satisfying way.
As a fan, it was a thrill to get the opportunity to speak with the filmmakers and cast members of Scream VI. First up, we spoke with both Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett about continuing this story and how they approached this “requel sequel.” We also talked to a number of the cast,...

It has been 12 years since "Scream 4" arrived to save horror fans from the 11 year break they had to endure after "Scream 3" hit theaters. More importantly, that means it's been 12 years since we've seen Hayden Panettiere's much-beloved character Kirby Reed on screen. Fortunately for fans of the franchise, that all changes with "Scream VI," which will not only take the action to New York City, but it will indeed bring Kirby back for another round with Ghostface.
That wasn't originally the plan, however, as Panettiere revealed in an interview with "Good Morning America." The actor took a four-year break from acting following the conclusion of "Nashville" in 2018, but that break ends with her long-awaited return to the "Scream" franchise. Panettiere explained that she actually reached out to directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett to make this happen:

Plot: A year after the horrors that took place for Sam and Tara Carpenter, the creepy Ghostface returns to terrorize the siblings and their pals. And this time, it all takes place in the Big Apple.
Review: “What’s your favorite scary movie?” Most horror fans know who is calling when they hear that voice on the other end of the phone. And yes, Ghostface is back. Since its debut with the original Scream in 1996, it became a solid series of modern slasher fun. Let’s face it; when arguably the worst film in it is Scream 3, you aren’t doing too bad. Even that flick offered clever cameos and had wildly engaging sequences. And with last year’s revival giving audiences a couple of new leads with Jenny Ortega and Melissa Barrera, it still made for an enjoyable entry. What’s most impressive now is that the sixth film in this franchise,...

Last year’s Scream delivered a “requel” that introduced a new generation of killers and survivors while celebrating Wes Craven and the franchise’s legacy. Much like Scream 2, Scream VI arrives a full year later and expands upon its characters and themes in thrilling ways as the surviving Woodsboro players relocate to college in NYC.
With introductions now in the rearview, this slasher sequel lets a ruthless Ghostface loose in the city, slicing up an intense, flawless entry that continues the streak of insightful introspection while escalating the thrills, kills, humor, and heart to a breathless degree.
It’s only been a year since Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera), Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega), Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown), and Chad Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding) survived their near-fatal encounter with Ghostface. Sam struggles with the lingering trauma and paranoia, not to mention her potential for inherited madness, while the remaining Woodsboro survivors attempt to return to normality.

Writer’s Note: There will be no spoilers posted in this review of Scream VI, so you can proceed to read my thoughts on this latest Scream movie without worrying about me ruining any aspect of your own viewing experience. Cheers!
After the success of last year’s “requel,” Scream VI has arrived to take this franchise to new storytelling heights, which is no easy feat when you consider what series we’re talking about here. But somehow, directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (aka Radio Silence) have pulled off the impossible yet again with their latest entry in the Scream franchise. Not only does Scream VI successfully build upon the storytelling foundation established in last year’s Scream, but it also pushes some tried and true tropes in unexpected ways, provides the new Scream franchise players many opportunities to shine, and also features several jaw-dropping moments of brutality to boot.

With almost twenty-seven years under its belt and now a sixth installment to its name, the Scream movies have shifted focus yet again. The series once about its leads’ attempts to extricate themselves from whatever pop-culture refraction others, killer or not, forced upon them is no more. The funhouse of previous entries is no longer the obstacle but the rule. Films are facile – “episodic,” even, as Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) declares – but the change isn’t inherently good or bad. It’s simply different in the context of Scream. It’s finally a 21st-century franchise.
It’s not another sequel, reboot, remake, or even “requel,” as the fifth entry so onanistically labeled itself. With Scream VI, the franchise doesn’t just have continuity; it has lore. It’s been a year since the most recent killings in Woodsboro. Now Tara (Jenna Ortega) and twins Chad (Mason Gooding) and Mindy have...
