A couple whose home backs out onto a Wexford heritage site have been prevented from carrying out vital remedial works for fear they may damage the historic location. The back garden of the couple’s house, which was built in the early 2000s, shares a border with Kilmannon Church and cemetery, part of which is in a serious state of disrepair.

With two young children in their family, the couple have been trying to have a wall close to their house fixed for a number of years without success.
