Rs 1 crore in unaccounted cash recovered from car in Kolkata

The Kolkata Police intercepted two people from the Ballygunge Phari area and seized huge amounts of unaccounted cash.

The Kolkata Police recovered huge amounts of cash in a joint raid in the city. The special task force and the anti-rowdy section of the Kolkata Police’s detective department conducted the raid and intercepted two people from the Ballygunge Phari area and seized huge amounts of unaccounted cash.

The counting of money is underway.

Acting on credible sources, two people were intercepted by the anti-rowdy section of Kolkata Police detective department and STF along with a vehicle bearing. The two, identified as Dulal Mondal (32) and Mukesh Saraswat (26), are permanent residents of Rajasthan and are currently residing in Kolkata.

During the search, Rs 1 crore in cash was found in their possession, for which they failed to show any valid documents. A case has been registered.
