Barun Sobti has finally spoken about why he thinks Shivani, not Sanaya, was cast for Season 3 of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.
Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Season 3 has been creating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced that TV star Barun Sobti is making a comeback with the show. However, fans are upset that Barun is not going to star in the show opposite Sanaya Irani, female lead of Season 1.
IPKKND Season 3 will see Barun with Shivani Tomar.
Fans have expressed their anger over the news, while producer Gul Khan shut them down saying that Shivani was who she wanted to work with, the actress herself said that she is hoping for a better response from the viewers when the show actually hits the floor.
Lead actor Barun Sobti has also opened up on the subject. According to the actor, Shivani is perfect for the role.
"Different characters need different actors to be cast. I was cast for suitability. How come people are missing Sanaya without watching the show? Shivani suits the character, she is perfect fit for it hence she was cast."
