Actress Nia Long to speak at Indianapolis event

January 17, 2023: Nia Long attends the Los Angeles Premiere of Netflix's "You People" at Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Actress Nia Long is coming to Indianapolis.

She’ll be featured at the 2023 Annual Steward Speakers Gala on April 13 at Indianapolis Marriott Downtown.

Long is known for portraying Lisa Wilkes on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” sitcom and starring in 1990s classic movies Friday, Love Jones, Boyz n the Hood and The Best Man.

Long replaces Sanaa Lathan who had been slated for the gala.
