Rock band Tool includes Indianapolis in 'Fear Inoculum' tour plans

Rock band Tool will perform Nov. 2 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Tool unveiled tour plans today, coinciding with the release of “Fear Inoculum” — the band’s first studio release in 13 years.

Tickets for the Indianapolis show will go on sale Sept. 6.

Tool members Maynard James Keenan, Adam Jones, Danny Carey and Justin Chancellor will launch the tour Oct. 15 in Denver.

English band Killing Joke, a pioneer of industrial rock, will serve as the supporting act.

Two previous Tool albums, 2001’s “Lateralus” and 2006’s “10,000 Days,” reached No. 1 on Billboard magazine’s Top 200 chart.
